The food overall was delicious! Everything arrived in a timely manner, it was hot and ready to eat! We tried a variety of dishes ranging from appetizers, main dishes and Xiao Long Bao, and beef noodle soup. We are definitely coming back with family and friends!
The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care, and the wait time was not long at all. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
The Taiwan Braised Beef Noodle Soup was excellent — rich, well-balanced, not too salty, and very aromatic. The beef was incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The dim sum was also delicious, light, and not greasy at all.
The egg tarts were fragrant, lightly sweet, and perfectly soft. We ended with a Brown Sugar Milk Tea drink, which was rich, smooth, and very refreshing — easily one of the best milk tea drinks in the area.
I also want to give a special shout-out to our server, Jasmine. She was kind, attentive, and made our experience even better. I would definitely come back and encourage others to give them a chance!!
Heard there were some issues in the kitchen during their soft opening, so I would disregard initial bad reviews.
Bubbletea was good quality! Not like some other establishments that have watered down versions for the same price that you can get at a gongcha, etc.
I arrived mid-day, and since not many people seem to know they’re open yet, it wasn’t busy. Melanie, who greeted me, was very kind and helpful. When she noticed I was taking photos, she asked if I planned on writing a review. After I said yes, she kindly offered me a bag, which was a thoughtful touch.
As for the food, the taro buns were what you’d expect from a typical bun nothing extraordinary, but decent and enjoyable. Unfortunately, my husband didn’t care for the Mongolian beef. He felt it lacked flavor and didn’t think it was worth the price.
That said, since I didn’t personally taste the dish and they may still be finding their footing, I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’d like to dine in next time and try the food for myself before forming a final opinion.
I especially loved the spicy soybean chicken wings and the Taiwan braised beef noodle soup — both were super flavorful and comforting.
The restaurant has a really nice environment, and the service was excellent. The manager Joy was very friendly and recommended the grape green tea. I tried it and loved it — very fresh and refreshing!
Definitely will be coming back again. Highly recommend!
Definitely will be a repeat customer here
This experience was completely opposite of what I expected from a 4.7-star rating.
The restaurant was uncomfortably cold throughout. When we asked to move to one of the many (50+) empty tables farther from the entrance, the server seemed confused and kept repeating that “the kitchen already has your order,” as if that prevented us from switching tables. We moved closer to the other four customers in the restaurant, but it was still very cold.
The chili wontons were luke warm and barely had any hot oil and I had to ask for extra. Even after asking for more (see attached photo), they were still disappointing. They tasted premade and quickly thrown together, and they looked nothing like the menu photo.
The wings were barely coated in sauce (spicy soy garlic) and tasted off. The white rice was honestly the only thing I could eat.
I spent over $30 and left most of the food untouched.
Only positive, interier is amazing.
Even though they dont serve sushi, the food quality reminds me of Sushi King.
