Hands down best BBQ place in all of Shreveport/Bossier. Every bite was delicious from the smoked sausage to the juicy brisket to the delicious ribs. The smoked chicken wings were amazing. The sides were made with love. The baked beans have chopped up sausage and brisket in it. The greens were seasoned with love and the potato salad was just right. If you are thinking of BBQ look nowhere else. I’m said that I just tried them for the 1st time and now you have a returning customer. I had a house of 15 people over and they were quiet while eating. All that could be heard was lip smacking and someone saying o man this is good. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

First time going to 1938 Smokehouse was great!!! Staff super friendly and the beef ribs were great!! I purchased two beef ribs and one spare beef rib with two sides(greens & beans) was all good and dont forget the sauce!!! You will thank me later!! I’m definitely going back!!! I can’t forget they also have snow cones with soft ice and great flavors. In whole I give this place a 10/10 and will try again
