I first went to the round top location and really enjoyed it (had the chicken milanese). Despite another review I saw, this place is just as good. It’s become a go-to spot for us, it’s consistently delicious, the atmosphere is perfect, and the waiters are attentive. I’ve gotten the same dish and I actually think it might even be better at the Houston location. The only thing that’s annoying is that you have to valet because the parking lot is so small.

Pasta, lamb and wagu are all recommended. Food overall excellent. I did not enjoy the service the first time I went, but it improved the next time I was there. Overall very good fine dining experience.

Randomly went since we were in the area and to our surprise, it is such a nice elegant spot to have good food, good service and good vibe!
Definitely going back to have a good relaxing time!

I put in a Google search to look for an Italian restaurant and found a great location that I drove by plenty of times. I’m glad I stopped this time. The host Katlin was so friendly when she welcomed us in, and the waiter Isreal gave us the best customer service. We were given great recommendations on daily food and drink specials. The Caesar salad was the best. I look forward to returning.

Just ok. Restaurant itself has nice decoration and design. Focaccia was between mediocre to bad. Lobster bisque mediocre and lukewarm. Think my cocktail was made wrong but I didn’t say anything so more on me than them. Service seemed distracted. Main Pasta dish was actually pretty solid but not worth the overall experience/ price of the evening. Probably wouldn’t go back.

It is a nice place, good location, it has a fairly large parking lot so you will not have any problems with that.
The attention was good, the manager was at the door and was quite friendly, our server was okay.
We went for brunch, the menu is quite complete. Order a Bellini it was really delicious. As a main meal, I ordered Spanish Tortilla, it was delicious, accompanied by a fairly fresh salad.
I feel that as an Italian restaurant that the bread service is not complementary is something that in my opinion takes away some points.
In general it was a good experience, it is a nice place for dates or family meetings.

Had the bruschetta for appetizer and it was so good. The oil and balsamic vinegar seasoning was perfect, the bread was soft, the tomatoes and cheese were fresh. Highly recommend it for an app. For entree, I had the pappardelle bolognese and my fiancée had the ravioli of the day which was a 4 cheese ravioli. Both were fantastic. The sauces were rich and creamy. The pasta was cooked to al-dente perfection. The meat on my dish was delicious. Left me wanting more. We got the gelato for dessert which was equally delicious!

Incredibly disappointed. I knew from the moment the bread came to the table that it wouldn’t end well. First off .. The bread service – bread was stale and dry. The bread IS the first impression of your restaurant and it was awful. Next, the salad .. arugula and roasted pears with pear chunks so large it required a knife. Last, the pasta. We had the carbonara – which fell short of a true carbonara and an overcooked sunny side up egg. But the biggest disappointment was the SPAGHETTI CON GRANCHINO. It was dry when it came to the table (both orders) as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp. While, our server was kind – service was slow .. which I found strange since there was only one other party in the restaurant. The best part of the meal was the tiramisu. I had such high expectations and was truly looking forward to an amazing dinner with fresh pasta. Sadly, what we experienced was quite the opposite. I will not return … especially if you can’t get the bread right.

Tasty food with a less than excellent staff.
I would like to note that I did see one waiter serving other tables, and he was very kind and helpful. He even stopped by to see how we were enjoying our food because we ordered one of his favorite dishes. However, our designated waiter was not very helpful or kind.
The food was flavorful, though a bit pricey (as nothing was particularly spectacular). There are other Italian places with better food for around the same price point.

Charming, old school, casually elegant, centrally located spot. All of that alone is worth five stars in these days of ridiculously overdone flash in the pan restaurants as far as I’m concerned. Haha. Food at Lulus is all fine enough with the standouts being a classic tuna tartare w/ avocado, and a truly delicious crab spaghetti. Nice cold martini was good too.
