On the very low end of mediocre. Hostess/waitress seemed to feel that my coming in was a terrible imposition. One word answers, deadpan ….
I got the sesame chicken lunch special with white rice and an eggroll instead of fried rice and a spring roll. And a cup of wonton soup. Meh…
Then I had the audacity to ask for duck sauce and chopsticks… Oh my…
The sesame chicken did have some flavor, but not much. Rice was good, though. Egg roll was adequate. Duck sauce was very spicy
Not going here again. Very disappointing. Oh, and all the tables “look clean” but are very sticky. Yuck! The whole place looks clean at first glance, but then you notice the crap on the carpet, the dust everywhere. Eesh!!

This is our favorite Chinese Restaurant in Haymarket. The sushi is to die for. It is so fresh. Sad to hear the sushi bar will be closed on Mondays. The shrimp and broccoli and combination fried rice is a must have. Check them out you won’t regret it!

Truly the best place for sushi in the entire area. I eat out every night at various places throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware and have never found any place that remotely compares to Chef Jeff’s creations and freshness of the sushi. During busy times (Friday & Saturday nights) you might wait a little longer for your order, but it is well worth the time. Sit at the Sushi Bar for the best experience.

My grandson likes this place. Me, not so much. Food is okay, table service- not so great. Not a pleasant group of servers. Check out, borders on rude.

When the mood strikes for Asian cuisine, I’m always in search of an authentic style Peking duck. Mind you this was take out but it was able to strike every expectation I was craving! The Peking duck was nice and crispy and even came with the hoisin sauce and pancakes on the side. The other items ordered were great and delectable. But for those local to the area and in search of the classic Peking duck I can vouch this will be my new go to establishment!

Update 9/4/25
We have been eating here for 15+ I think we have to give up. Every few times the food is terrible. Both dishes this time are the worst food we have ever tried. I say try because the dishes were not edible. I can no longer try anymore. $40 trashed. The staff? So very nice.

Very good food, large portions at a fair price. The very freshest sushi in the area!

Asian garden offers Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food, including sushi, and has a liquor license.
The food is consistently good. Not amazing, but consistently good, no matter what we order. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and pretty quiet.

Very slow service at restaurant. Best to order take-out only.

Don’t eat at this location. Their priority is take-out while you wait and wait. And then have a bad attitude.
