Reviews
The hospitality at Pho Ha Noi will honestly blow you away, and so are the different selections of meat and Vietnamese delicacy drinks as well. From Ca Phe to just literally milk tea, there’s a lot you can choose from when it comes to drinks — and best of all, they’re actually cheap compared to the other pho places that I’ve been to.
Food-wise, I ordered the Pho Combination with Beef and Tripe. The fun fact about that is: did you know that the beef stock is actually cooked fresh, seasoned fresh, and made with lots of love? I love the texture of the egg noodles, as it was absolutely al dente and very textural.
In terms of the hospitality and customer service, we were greeted by people who worked at the front desk. Not the most nice, but certainly not the most mean either — just an equilibrium in between.
An update! Went today for restaurant week and they are still excellent as ever. Ordered their sticky rice dish and the food was excellent. Service first-rate. And even a free dessert! Nice surprise. All for $15 for lunch.
The space feels clean, modern, and spacious with comfortable seating – I believe they opened just last year. The food was good. They gave us 2 rounds of free dessert tasting: pandan pancakes and coconut pudding with pandan.
The service was good as well. Our waitress and the entire staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The pricing is very reasonable, not too overpriced.
Overall, I like the Vietnamese cuisine and modern dining comfort. I’ll definitely be back with friends again.
The broth is made with real bones, not overly salty like those made with MSG.
Good portions and delicious meat. The short rib serving is substantial. Their appetizers and rice dishes are great as well.
Great value for the price. Most Pho dishes are $13-15, this one is $19 but still worth it.
Service is friendly and fast. They get busy on weekends & somehow service was still pretty fast.
Absolutely give it a try, this is real Pho, you’d be pleasantly surprised if you only had $10 number 1 combo pho before.
Don’t miss their fresh noodles option—silky, springy, and a game-changer if you’ve only had dried ones before. The spring rolls are tightly wrapped with fresh herbs, shrimp, and a slice of pork—bursting with flavor in every bite. Beyond pho, they offer a solid lineup of pork, beef, and chicken rice plates that never disappoint.
If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese flavors in Pacific Commons, Pho Ha Noi is your spot. Give it a try and let me know which dish becomes your favorite! #PaulEverHome @BayAreaWithPaul
