This bar has great food and friendly service. They offer the usual bar activities, huge menu, and plenty of cold drinks. We enjoyed the Sriracha cheese curds, boom boom shrimp wrap, bacon cheeseburger, and homemade fries.

Il just be real here worst food I have ever had got food from door dash from here food was at our house in less then 20 minutes which already had me skeptical…oh well quick service right…wrong..burgers were completely raw and when I say raw I mean mooing at me still…never seen anything like it without request…the French fries could be amazing had they been cooked all the way as well..I would not recommend this place to anyone period..hey could be a cook issue as well because you can see the spot has potential…but as for that visit whoever cooked that food tonight should find a new job or career….your terrible…refund?? Nope deal with door dash for our cooks not knowing how to cook food lol…great customer service….nottttt….do not eat at this place you have been warned…up to you now..

Lunch today came from Slop’s in Clinton, IA, and this bar and grill is pretty wide open. We ordered fried pickles for our normal appetizer. The pickles were good from my taste. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and I had to try the highly recommended peanut butter burger. As She bit into the burger, “it’s really good,” she said. “This is awesome,” as she kept eating. I took the first few bites of my burger and it was really good. Slops definitely doesn’t lie when they say they put a “dollop of peanut butter” on the burger. This burger did not disappoint, and tasted great. Great place!

They sponsored a golf outing, and I intended it with a group very well done. The last time I was there 15 years ago, I thought it was a sports bar. This time, I see more TVs and larger. I plan to go back for the NFL games we will see. To include Lindsay the manager done an outstand in job I will go there because of her.

We have a group, 5-8 of us who go for Taco Tuesday every week. Our server these days is Summer. When each member of our group arrives, she makes sure they get a drink, but then she ignores us for over an hour, until one of our group goes to the bar and tells her we want to order. She also let’s our beer glasses get empty and sit there until we flag her down or finally get our food and can ask for another. With past servers. Some of us would have 3-5 beers before we pay and leave. With Summer, we barely get two beers because she does not come back and ask. Our group is now looking for another place to go. We have been coming to Slops for several years now and have never had such poor service. Owner/ Manager she is seriously losing you money. If she is doing it to us, she is serving others poorly too.

The food and the team here are the best part of a local establishment. I’ve never been disappointed in picking the special of the day! The draft beers on tap are of a great selection, well curated…and the drinks are made perfectly. I’ve not had a bad experience with any dining stop and food options are fantastic. Highly recommend this location, easily accessible and friendly to all who visit. The atmosphere is group friendly, relaxed but not too much you can’t blend in with the regular crew.
