ABSOLUTELY the best chicken tenders on earth. When fresh they are so crispy and huge and delicious, but I am deducting a star because their hours are very sporadic. They’re supposed to be open every day 8am-9pm but I have been here multiple times where they are closed for no reason either early or all together. I suspect staffing issues

I could really appreciate a little American comfort food, different than what else is around. They were able to add pepper and onions to a cheese quesadilla. The cheesesteak we wouldn’t get again; it may just need more season or toasted bread would have been nice. Added salt and pepper to the mashed potatoes, comes with chicken gravy. All in all, it’s decent enough.

Mavericks Bistro is one of those places that you wouldn’t think is anything special until you order there and anything and everything you order is amazing. One thing that definitely stands out is their selection of cheesecake for being in a truck stop this place is phenomenal I can simply tell you I don’t believe there’s one thing on their menu that is not good. It’s amazing and comforting that somebody finally thought outside the box and put such a great little spot have a restaurant inside a truck stop. 5 Stars hands down. Also don’t look past the fried chicken they have. Also a great meal

Liked the chicken quesadilla, gate the cheesecake. I would not consider it cheesecake if I hadn’t seen it. It’s more akin to advertising cheesecake. Looks like the most perfect cheesecake in the world, but isn’t made out of anything edible. The cheesesteak looks delicious. Hoping it’s as good as it looks. The strawberry-banana smoothie was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased a chicken strip with 3 peice with potato wedges,Buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing for the potato wedges.
No potato wedges! They say the company won’t send them? Substitute is tater tots ,not the same. I believe we are getting cheat on value.
There is also water dripping from the ceiling in the dining area, on tables and floor. Makes for an unsafe environment.

I came here for a slice of cheesecake because I’ve stopped here before and today it was calling me. The cashier was friendly and gave a great suggestion, Reese’s chocolate cheesecake! It was soooooo sweet but delish I shared with my boyfriend. Huge portion size nice friendly staff

Not sure if mavericks bistro is aware of this but, you can’t make money if you don’t open your own store. They seem to not know how to do the most basic of thing’s… Such as.. you know… Being “OPEN” during the time that’s listed.. Mavericks use to have a store in Youngstown and now have permanently closed there door’s due to the business not being profitable… Um well… Maybe if you guys were OPEN during the SPECIFIED HOUR’S and let me and others SPEND MONEY.. you just might be able to pay the rent… Not sure who runs this business but my God, are they the most incompetent people on earth. For year’s, they couldn’t open on time or at all on some day’s. ._. real shame, it use to be my spot for some MASSIVE yummy tenders and fries! Oh well… Only a matter of time before this locations goes under too. Good luck!

When I first started going to Mavericks I used to be able to save that place was definitely worth the wait and definitely worth the price. However after this last visit now mind you I haven’t been there for quite a while now but I stopped in today and besides the rude experience the long wait when they aren’t that busy there was only one other order at the same time, the food definitely isn’t at the standard and quality that it used to be. For the money I think I’m going to find somewhere else for my chicken needs.
