Social Profile:

Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.

Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

I placed my online order at 7:35pm and showed up at 8:10pm as instructed by Doordash. They didn’t even start my order until I showed up (and they weren’t even busy). Then, they took another 35 minutes to fulfill mine while taking care of other walk in customers before me. I ended up getting my order picked up after 1 hour 10 minutes after placing it. I would not order from them again!

Don’t go here. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so.

My first visit to Moab and stopped by for some fried chicken. They were out and asked if we can wait 15 minutes. I agreed. My second mistake was not checking the food first before I left because when I got to my hotel, the fried chicken had no batter or seasoning. Biggest disrespect ever and when I go back to Moab, I’m going to have a few words with these fools.

My husband is sooo picky about fried chicken. He got the best he’s ever eaten in his 15 yrs in the USA at this place! They especially cooked the order for him. We waited 15 minutes for the tastiest fried chicken. Not massive chunks of batter just the right amount. We spoke at great length with the owner. What a nice man. He lived in Spain, my husband is from there & they spoke a little Spanish together. So happy to have met this super friendly humble man. Oh and the price was super reasonable! And I love the Moab fridge magnet I purchased. Btw he loved the chicken so much we went back to buy again after visiting Arches Park BUT ALL the power was out in Moab. ALL OF MOAB! That was crazy to see better star viewing. Anyway no more chicken for this trip. But next time! Thank you!

This is hands down the best fried chicken I’ve had in decades. These folks really know how to do chicken right! Especially the fingers, super juicy! I’m genuinely shocked they only have a 3.6 on Google—this place easily deserves a 4.5 or higher.

Me and my roommate came to moab, and amidst the search for food that wasn’t ridiculously overpriced, we found crispy crunchy chicken. We got in around 5, and while there was still some chicken left, all of the sides were gone, the biscuits were a tad bit stale, and the mashed potatoes were hardly potatoes, more closely resembling soup. All in all, this place is pretty alright, its probably the cheapest you’re gonna get here.

In the gas station. Website said open but it was a bunch of boxes that seemed to be out for hours. I don’t really trust heat lamp chicken and potatoes. But that’s just me.

Having patronized this franchise previously, I must express my disappointment with today’s experience. While the chicken was, as expected, freshly prepared, the mashed potatoes and gravy were excessively liquid, resembling a soup. This is particularly disheartening in a location frequented by tourists seeking quality dining experiences. Regrettably, the service and food quality did not meet expectations on this occasion.

Ordered via DoorDash while in Moab. The order came nearly an hour later than the original estimate, and we were shorted a piece of chicken – and no chicken breasts in the eight piece box, just wings, legs, and thighs.

The potato wedges were ice cold, and instead of getting two of the regular sizes (as ordered) we got one large box. The beans and rice were also cold.

There were also no utensils or napkins provided. We would have ordered ranch sauce for the potato wedges (who eats these without ranch?), but the restaurant has disabled both that option and the ability to leave instructions with your order.

The order was so badly botched that we couldn’t help but laugh! But we certainly won’t order from this chain again…

This is my favorite restaurant in Moab and it’s not even a restaurant. It’s a gas station that has a little fried chicken deli area. They sell spicy chicken sandwiches, jambalaya, chicken, sides, etc. When you walk into the gas station, look to the left, get the food you want, and pay at the counter. The food is simple, cheap, and tasty. Easy in and out. Not too crowded.

Driving into Moab, we were looking for a quick, inexpensive lunch for the family. So glad we stumbled on this place. The chicken sandwiches were great. We also had potato wedges and blueberry scones. So good. Great service, too. We will be back the next time we’re passing through Moab.
