Bread – 9/10. Chewy outer shell with a moist, soft inside. The ricotta with orange zest and nice grassy olive oil were a great way to start the meal.
Pasta special – 8/10. Pesto with salmon. Great value. Good portion size. Pesto was vibrant. Salmon flakes were soft.
Pork belly ravioli – 7/10. Nice porky flavor in the ravioli. Portion size was smaller.
After a long workday, I wandered in hungry and found the perfect late-night spot. The atmosphere was cozy and chic—my window seat felt like a VIP corner with no reservation needed.
The pasta special was simple comfort food, exactly what I needed in the moment (though not a dish I’d rush back for). What did stand out? The service. Even though it was closing time, the staff never rushed us. Their hospitality made the night feel special.
Artusi is the kind of place I’d return to for the vibe, the gracious service, and another chance to explore the menu.

The ambiance is good. Service is attentive if not overly friendly.
There are a number of tables and 2 bar seating areas… one at the actual bar and the other at the open kitchen. We really enjoy sitting at the open kitchen bar as we get to watch all the cooking action! Everything is hand and fresh made here… the noodles, sauces, meatballs and everything else…
And oh… those meatballs… the BEST in town by far! Beautiful sauce, hand formed meatballs with excellent herbs and seasonings… serves fresh out of a pot where they have been simmering in sauce… the special pasta of the day is always amazing… today we also got the risotto which was superb! The burrata dish was perfectly excellent and paired with a light salad and finally… the melon sorbet was like eating frozen melon bursting with flavor!!
Wow! A meal to savor and we can’t wait to go back!!
If the story ended there I would not have written a review. I wouldn’t have gone back, but would not have written a bad review. My partner got VIOLENTLY ill after this meal – I almost had to take him to the ER. I also felt nauseous and queasy but nowhere near the extent he did. I am guessing it was the meatball that did it as that was the one thing he had that I didn’t. Very unfortunate experience on what should have been a happy day. Will not be coming back.
