Pizza filled the box I would add more photos but I couldn’t stop eating oh and I caught the lunch deal two slices and a can soda 6.99 with the garlic bread 4.99 great deal
Simply put, they make great pizza… delicious, hot, and flavorful. Their hand-tossed pizzas have a medium crust topped with mildly tart chunky tomato sauce and real mozzarella cheese.
The hand-tossed crust is crisp (not crunchy) on the bottom and fully cooked through. Their pizzas are topped with a mildly tart well spiced chunky tomato sauce with plentiful cheese and toppings. The crust’s edge is about an inch around, and is consistent around the whole pizza. The crust supports the delicious toppings.
The cheese has an authentic flavor. It is warm and stretchy, but not oily, gooey or runny. The cheese is spread relatively thick and consistently across the whole pie. The toppings cover to the crust, and were surprisingly even … even geometrically placing a consistent number of pepperonis per slice. LOL.
The restaurant itself is primarily takeout and delivery, but they have a couple of shelf-like table tops on two walls with bar stools that is comfortable for a quick bite at lunch time.
We had a pizza party with 4 couples and 2 ravenous teens. Pepperoni’s delivered 4 XL pies (cheese, vegetarian, pepperoni, and supreme) with 2 salads. The pizza arrived hot and intact. There’s nothing worse than having a pizza glued to the cover of the box or smashed to the side. These pizzas were perfect! It fed everyone with a 5 slices and some salad to spare. The teens took the leftover slices for the road … LOL.
We highly recommend you give them a try.
I called the restaurant and spoke with a manager or owner named Julie. The conversation was already unprofessional. Instead of addressing the issue, she repeatedly said she could pull the cameras to prove her staff added Alfredo sauce. That response was dismissive and unnecessary. The food in front of me clearly did not match what was ordered.
When I went into the restaurant, the same explanation continued. A staff member with glasses stated that the Alfredo sauce soaks up into the bread. If that is the case, then more sauce should be added. No one is paying $25 for dry cheese bread.
I brought the original pizza back to show that there was no sauce. A replacement pizza was made, and I was initially willing to accept it. However, as I was leaving, I could clearly see staff members snickering and laughing through the glass reflection about the situation. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable eating any food from this location. After an already tense and unprofessional interaction, there was no way to feel confident that my food had not been mishandled.
I left the original pizza I brought in and did not accept the replacement pizza. I left with nothing.
This experience is especially disappointing because I never had issues with Pepperoni’s when they were previously at the 2920 location. The difference in customer service and professionalism is very noticeable.
I will not be returning to this location. This was not about free food. It was about trust, food safety, and basic respect for customers.
Update:
I want to clarify a few points based on my experience as a customer.
During the phone call, it was very clear with Julie that this was not about a refund. Julie immediately stated that DoorDash would have to handle any concerns and did not initially offer options to remake the pizza or explore solutions directly. DoorDash later offered a $5 credit on a $30 order, which is not a reasonable outcome for anyone. A refund was never my first option. I had to tell her that I would be arriving to the store in order for her to fix the situation.
Both during the call and in your response, the focus was not “let me see what I can do,” but instead on proving that I was wrong and you were right. The repeated references to camera footage and later offers to show me the cameras or invite me into the kitchen came across as passive-aggressive rather than solution-focused. That same dynamic is why this situation escalated instead of being resolved quickly.
My concern was never whether Alfredo sauce touched the pizza at some point. The issue was the end result, I didn’t have any on mines. This is my experience as a customer who has ordered this pizza before.
When I arrived at the store, no one wished me a good evening, and when I walked out, no one wished me a good evening. I also observed staff snickering and laughing, which made me uncomfortable as a paying customer. Because of that, I did not feel comfortable accepting the replacement pizza and returned the original. I tossed the pizza onto the counter. If it fell onto the floor, that was not my intention and I do apologize. My goal was simply to leave without food after feeling disrespected. For clarity, I returned to the counter approximately 30 seconds later.
If my behavior is being questioned, it does not make sense to then invite me back into the kitchen. My reaction was a response to feeling disrespected, not an attempt to be disruptive.
It appears that the quality and customer service have declined. That happens sometimes, and while it is disappointing, it simply means it is time for me to find a new place.
This is what I experienced as a customer. I stand by my review and wish you the best moving forward. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
Cashier didnt seem to attentive or showed any care.
They only had 2 slices available which wasnt enough for us. So we were stuck ordering a whole pizza.
Ended up getting garlic bread too
Garlic bread was great but cant recommend the pizza. The sauce has a weird taste to it
5 stars for family owned!
Pizza was subpar at best. I received 2 extremely greasy slices of pizza. There was so much grease that the crust was completely soggy. The layer of cheese and pepperoni just slid off the crust. Gave 3 stars because the staff was friendly.
