Pan seared White Fish with garlic sauce is delicious…. Highly recommended to check out this hole in the wall restaurant in central Arlington.

Just wanted to say thank you again to the nice man who works at this restaurant who helped me yesterday in the parking lot after my fender bender. He was super nice to help me with removing my bumper that had been ripped off. I’ve been to this restaurant before and the food and service is great. I will be a repeat customer as well for a long time.

I have heard great things about this restaurant so I was excited to go. We were there on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all. The service was super friendly and we made the tail end of happy hour with a $5 Margarita. The food lived up to my expectations. Everything was great. My garlic white fish was fantastic, the only part that was lackluster was the side of previously frozen vegetables. My husband had the whole fried catfish and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband has an uncommon food allergy, and the waiter and kitchen staff were exceptionally attentive to taking care of him. The shrimp quesadilla and queso blanco were phenomenal.

I thought La Isla Restaurant – Arlington couldn’t get any better , but I was so wrong! The Pantego location knocked my socks off. The place is straight fire . I’m talking a 4 alarm fire .

If you like cocktails, have a frozen Strawberry Margarita . You will be pleased.

The ceviche is some of the best that I’ve had, and they give you a lot. It is literally an entree. I opted for the Ceviche Toastada on my second visit. Still so much Ceviche on the tostada!

The Chicken Enchiladas Verde were DELICIOUS . They make sum unforgettable Charro beans.

You can’t go wrong with La Isla. The amazing part is the prices are beyond reasonable. I had an appetizer, an entree and a frozen margarita for $26. Lots of value at this place.

If you are looking for quality Mexican food and drinks at an incredible price, with friendly service, please go check out La Isla Restaurant-Pantego. You can thank me later.

Our first time here and it was amazing! The food was so good and came out hot and fresh, the chips and salsa were so good too! Silvia our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full and brought us more chips and salsa lol. We will be coming back to try the shrimp quesadillas. 5 stars

Lots of good things and a couple things that could be worked on that would have me be a regular. First the top shelf margaritas with Patron and grand marnier is only $9…”uh yes sir, I’ll have 3″. The food is solid overall . I liked their carne sauce and fajita seasoning. Fajitas cooked well and not served on a cast iron that overcookes the steak. One drawback was it’s only about two fajitas worth and no pico — easily fixed but for $17 not a bad deal at all.

The atmosphere in there is not good primarily bc very few people are there so it’s eerily quiet. The decor could be a bit more festive on the mexican side as it has alot of old pantego bay things but maybe bc it’s La Isla they’re sticking with it. Small things like hiding visible cable wires and some more vibrant colors may make it more inviting.

Overall I really enjoyed my evening there and have high hopes for it’s future.

Service was above par, food was fantastic. Not overly seasoned as some places are. Very flavorful and the Carne Asada was cooked fork tender! The combo nachos appetizer could have been a meal in itself! Basic margarita was delightful. Servings vs price were definitely generous. Glad to see a Great Place going in this former great place. Looking forward to returning again and again. Marta was a joy to have as a server!! Kudos across the board.

The servers were great. It’s so rare these days that hosts and servers are so attentive. They were not on their cell phones. You can tell they really cared. They were so sweet! They were ready to greet and see you out. Even though it was slow and there wasn’t much going on they were not distracted and were very attentive and kind.

Food and drinks were good! Very Fairly priced! Will be back for sure!

The salsa is our favorite in Arlington! The food is very good! Depending on what meal you order, it ranges from mild to spicy but it is consistent each time. The enchiladas and tacos are tasty! The camarones a la diabla is spicy but very good! Other selections range in between to meet your taste.
The service has always been great! We’ve gone to La Isla for over 20 years, including the last 4+ years in their current location on Park Row.

It was good, my Mom ordered the shrimp cocktail and said it was wonderful and I had cheese enchiladas and they were good, the hot sauce is nice and hot but the chips were cold just could have warmed them up a bit. They have great drink specials and margarita specials daily.
