On top of that, the waiting time was extremely long. The lack of cleanliness and slow service made the entire experience unpleasant. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Chicken Handi 5/10 not a lot of flavor & only some heat & there was very little chicken in the dish, lots of gristle.
Garlic Naan 8/10 good, just small portion
I placed a togo order on eatstreet and when I arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready my order hadn’t even been started yet. I was told to just wait 5 minutes. 15 minutes go by and I contact eatstreet because no one came to tell me how my food was going. They called the restaurant while I was still there waiting and they told eatstreet it’s almost ready about 2 more minutes. Another 10-15 minutes go by and someone finally comes out and tells me they’re sorry but they were out of rice. I got to the restaurant 20 minutes after they opened that morning. If they had told me it would be about 30 minutes because of this I would’ve left and come back but no one told me the deal until the very end and I was sitting waiting for my order. Also, 2 other Togo orders came and went before my food was ready. Eatstreet didn’t help resolve my issue and all I got was “sorry we were out of rice.” Communication was not good and the food was only okay, just disappointed with my whole experience..
It wasn’t. I have eaten at TONS of Indian and Pakistani restaurants in many different cities and this was average at best. I even worked at an Indian restaurant for years in Scottsdale, AZ and know about the culture and how a good family owned restaurant is run.
This place was not friendly, warm or inviting. Food was luke warm, sauce was super runny (too much water?) and bread was chewy by the time I ate it, which was immediately after I left. Underwhelming and over priced with a weird interaction with who I presume are the owners (I wouldn’t know as they never greeted me or introduced themselves). Will NOT be back nor would I recommend this place to anyone. I will continue to try other places in town.
