I wasn’t going to this restaurant. I initially wanted some jerk chicken, but the Island restaurant was closed that day. So, I was like…let’s try this. It was delicious. Best creamy green salsa I’ve ever had. The restaurant was not crowded, and the physical structure was well designed for it to be a storefront restaurant. It looked classy. Food presentation was nice and the food wasn’t salty. Normally I like my hot red salsa with a little more flavor, but it was a good compliment to the chips. No complaints. The manager/server was kind, yet mostly hands off. So, I was able to enjoy my food in peace. His timing to offer services was on point, and the prices were affordable.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The salsa tasted so good and so fresh! The food was very good, and their menu has some very unique items that I’ve never seen at a Mexican restaurant before. I ordered chiles rellenos. Absolutely delicious! I’d return again!

$$$ Had lunch with friends and my sisters. Food was good! I drove an hour to meet them here. I didn’t like the mushy beans because it was spicy and runny. It was like soup. But my steak fajita was delicious The rice is just plain, Yellow rice. Not recommended. The appetizer guacamole was great but the chips were not good. My Corona beer was $5 my meal was $22 Not worth the trip at all. Waitress was nice but it took forever to get some water. They need to hire more waitresses.

7/10 overall.
Asked for quac, they were honest and said the remainder of the avocados a they had weren’t the best. When my meal came out they gave me a small side of quac on the house with what they had left and it was DELICIOUS. I was very happy with my meal (Al pastor tacos).
It’s by no means m the best Mexican food I’ve had, but out this way, it’s 10/10. Would order it over driving into Geneva.
Inside atmosphere is tough.. but if you’re not looking for fancy. This is the place.

We finally got over to try OH M G. I ordered chorizo tacos and some steak tacos, my wife ordered the shrimp tacos and some steak tacos with sides of rice and beans. The tacos were amazing. I really liked the yellow corn tortillas they use. Prep and presentation were great, we will definitely be back to try more food!

New updated review.
We went back and service was horrible, only three other tables were dining in and the waitress took forever from the minute we stepped in. It took a long time to take our drink order, bring our drinks to the table, take our food order, and bring our food out. And the food was not nearly as good as it was last time. We were so disappointed as we thought this was going to be one of our new favorite places in this area. Also, please see the picture I have attached; you’ll see that they have all the dirty plates next to the clean plates. Why there were so many dirty plates since it was a Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and very few people were dining. That’s the reason the atmosphere went down to one star. This could be a good spot if a few things were corrected.
Old review…Service was amazing; very personal and great recommendations from the staff. Jalapeno guacamole, chili relleno was amazing and also the house margarita…

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at how good our meal was. Very modest little restaurant tucked in a strip mall, but not lacking in flavor or hospitality. I had the enchiladas feast because I love mole, and was not disappointed. All four sauces were wonderful. My son loved his ground beef burrito as well. Give this little place a chance, we will definitely be back!

Ordered a burrito with ground beef, lettuce and cheese for pick up. When I got home from the 2 minute drive the burrito was cold. It also had chicken and jalapeños, which was not what I ordered. I gave this place three tries, all were a disaster. Never again.

We have been eating here since the day they opened. Come for one dish, Chile relleno. This is our go to at Mexican restaurants. It’s been a while, but we went today and immediately something was off. Not only was it completely dead but the usual server no longer works there. I told my mom somethings not right after we ordered there was no sound of food being made no sizzling the grill wasn’t on. We kept hearing the microwave being used over and over again and the Cook and the new waitress were looking and hovering over our food, whispering like hiding something. It wasn’t right. When he put the food up on the counter, I told my mom I don’t see any steam it didn’t look hot. If you know this dish, the cheese inside the pepper is melted as soon as you cut open oozing out. The beans and rice were cold, and when we cut into the pepper there was no cheese. We kept cutting and looking till we finally hit the cheese and it was a brick ice cold. Felt like an ice cube. Absolutely disgusting. Very disappointed and will not return ever. Not cooked to order. Nothing was cooked.
