I eat here every couple of months when I’m on a work trip. Tonight, I didn’t get in until 930; the restaurant closes at 10:00. When I got to a table and the waitress finally came over, it was 9:48. When I asked about getting food, she told me they stop making food at 9:45. I don’t really understand this if the restaurant doesn’t really close until 10:00. She proceeded to tell me I could have chips and dip, chicken strips, or soup. I was hoping to just have a salad, and when I asked, she sounded pretty heavily, walked to the back, I’m with the door still open, shouted oh my God like my order was just too much to ask for when she returned, she said I could order a salad, so I opted to place a takeout order and waited for my food. Every time I’ve eaten breakfast here, the servers and service have been top-notch. I don’t know if she was having a bad night or my 3 minutes past 9:45 was just too much for her to want to deal with, but I was less than impressed with the service I got tonight. I added an order of chips and dip, and they were both of sizable proportions… definitely a shareable size and deliciously worth it!

I received an email from the Director of Food and Management the next morning. He apologized and invited me back to try again. I appreciated his offer and had dinner tonight; it was delightful…and so was the service!

I reserved a table for me and my new fiance, (we got married the day before) and had our first dinner out as newlyweds at the Bordeaux. Mindy took great care of us! She new it was a special dinner and gave us our own private room. 🙂
She made us feel special and even gave us samples of beer and wine to try before we decided what to order. All and all a wonderful and memorable evening. Food was great and a nice wine list!

I’m staying as a guest at the Crowne Plaza in Lansing MI for work and have stopped at this restaurant 3 times and all 3 times I’ve experienced wonder staff extremely courteous and helpful. I ordered dinner tonight with a Caesar salad and most times the salad will come out without anchovies and so I asked my waiter if they had any and he went back and brought me a plate of excellent tasting anchovies for

The service & ambiance was great! Mindy, our bartender was attentive & makes a tasty margarita. She also had excellent recommendations for various menu items to try. Butternut risotto, wines, & dessert were one of the best parts of our stay.

Went to a wedding reception here. Wonderfully and tastefully decorated hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks were strong and delicious. Restrooms are very clean. The food was good and plentiful. Plenty of parking. We had a great time. Would recommend for an evening out or rent for functions.

Great Restaurant!!! The food was Not bland Hotel food. Everything was delicious. You must order the truffled tater tots ! They’re ridiculous – so good I ordered another. They’re served hot and crispy, fantastic. The tater tots paired perfectly with one of the best Old Fashions I’ve had in any bar. A little spicy and not watered down. Nice complex flavor. I ordered the mixed spring greens salad with strawberries, blueberries & feta. I added grilled chicken – it was delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s wonderful to have such a great restaurant in the hotel !!! My server was fantastic too- he did a great job !!!

I care about interesting food, my wife cares about a quiet, serene atmosphere, and we got both here.
We didn’t expect too much, but the food was some of the best we’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes in particular in the flounder dish were the best potatoes I’ve ever had.

This was by far one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The food is superbly fabulous. Fresh real ingredients and homemade.. the taste is heavenly! They have vegetarian and vegan options as well! And to top it off, they also have local craft beer on draft! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Simply amazing food!

The food here was 10/10! Joe was a great server, bartender and host. We had a 6:30 reservation and he had the table set with waters ready for us at 6:15. The food was great, my filet was cooked perfect med rare and the sides were amazing! Can’t beat the price for the quality of food. It is tucked in a hotel so kinda off the beaten path but worth making the trip!
