We are Killer Pies. A nod to classic pizza joints with a new school take. Amazing NY style, thin-crust slices with a house-made soft drink program that can only be born and bred in downtown Asbury Park, NJ. Indoor dining, outdoor seating, pick up and delivery now available.

First learned of Killer Pies on a gluten-free in New Jersey facebook group – and I can say that the gluten-free slices (and can be ordered as a whole pie) are worth the hype! Sicilian-like slices! So good!
They also offer gluten slices and pies, as well as great salads.
Fantastic and friendly service, too!

New pizza joint in town. Love their whole vibe. Really embraced the Asbury Park feel. The inside is beautiful. Love their branding. My friends got a pie to go and said it was good.
If they could expand and offer vegan cheese/toppings they could hit off even better by offering to vegans! They do have a vegan pie but it’s just red sauce pie. In a town like Asbury were almost every place offers banging vegan choices- I feel this could REALLY elevate them.

• pepperoni slice – basic. nothing to write home about, really. there was a garlic chili oil? can’t recall what it was but it was bomb.
• white slice – the cheese was hard which is a sign that it’s been left out since it was a little cold. pretty under-seasoned too.
• garlic parmesan wings – meat was cooked well, didn’t feel too dry but the skin could be better. not crisp enough for our liking and the taste wasn’t all there unless i add a heaping amount of parmesan and drench it in ranch.
notes
not sure if it was an off day but everything we got was mid. the service could be better because while they were accommodating, they seemed a little lost (we paid for water and they forgot to give it to us unless we realized later on). the atmosphere is rather charming and the bathroom wowed me due to the mirrors. overall, ehh wouldn’t come back.

Killer Pies in Asbury Park lives up to its reputation. I’ve been hearing for a while about the killer gluten-free crust they offer here. It is nothing like any other GF pizza I’ve had anywhere – in a really great way!
Thick, tasty crust with a really satisfying, focaccia-like crunch to the edge and chew in the middle. Tasty toppings. Awesome service. Open late. I loved my first visit, and can’t wait to return. I forgot to take a photo before we attacked our half-pepperoni, half-veg pie – this is what came home with us afterward.

Hands down a way better pizza than JMacs. For a few bucks, you can order by the slice which is a rarity in Asbury Park. Great locals vibe, down to earth service, and great selection of slices thats affordable. Open late night a huge plus. Skip the line elsewhere

Loved the Killer Pies branding, pepperoni was really good very tasty. Plain slice was just okay. Felt service was slow for a couple of drinks and slices. Will try again re-rate.

Had the Killer Pie, Caeser Salad, and a Lavender Lemon soda. Crust was thin, but cooked well and not dried out. Sauce was great. Salad was really good. Soda could have used more lemon. Overall happy with our experience and will definitely be back to try again soon.

One of the best pizza places in the area, every person behind that counter is super friendly and kind. They care about the little things like making sure you have ice and a cup for your can of soda, making sure your slices or whole pie is good. The vibe and decor of the place are the icing on the cake for this pizza shop. It’s our go to when we want consistently good pizza. The pepperoni pizza is my classic fav there

Hands down best pizza in and around Monmouth county. We tried multiple pies but my favorite was the gluten free – total perfection. The soda flavors were super unique and so much fun, there’s nothing like this experience anywhere else. Everyone who worked there was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, I can’t recommend this new spot enough. A perfect addition to the neighborhood!

The gluten/dairy free pizza is really good but I would recommend you do take out, unless you want the chef to put his fingers straight up in the sauce after he walked around talking and picking up others plates. He seemed annoyed with us because we said the pizza was cold, the whole point of eating it in person is for it to be hot. Then he proceeded to be super friendly to every other customer but us. Totally unprofessional and it sucks because good gluten free pizza is hard to come by.
5 stars for the pizza
3 stars for the service of the one chef, the other young man who rang me up at the register was super friendly towards everyone equally
