I stay in Kennet the entirety of duck season every year for the past four years. It is the best BBQ in the bootheel (let alone Northeast Arkansas) Family owned and operated and the owner is incredibly friendly and one of those people you can tell has the biggest heart when you first meet him. The ladies up front are incredibly nice and take care of you 100%

It’s probably the best BBQ in these parts. The only negative thing would be service, it’s not that they’re rude or anything, but if you’re in a rush you’re outta luck, I’ve tried calling ahead many times but they don’t answer, I just assumed they were closed, but I’ve also tried calling while in line at drive thru (thinking a little heads-up would be to their benefit)and still no answer. I do wonder if it’s just one person doing it all, cuz you place your order at the window and you wait for it pay then leave. But if you got time, you can’t beat the taste!

I got loaded bbq nachos, and my friend got a pulled pork burger. My nachos were fine, but it was something I’ve had from a different restaurant and I was looking for a unique experience. My friends bread was a little stale. The waitress was kind and helpful. I’d come back.

The food was everything I could have wished for after a long day of work! I got the Pig Cup and it was perfect! The waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable and the chef even came in to check on our experience! Definitely try the Pig Cup (½lb of bbq, baked beans, topped off with crunchy slaw!) Staggeringly low prices for the quality of food, service, and ambiance. (Also, the bathrooms were pristine!)

I have ate there in the restaurant a couple times the past few weeks which I usually get drivethru The food is always wonderful and it’s to bad the service don’t match. The woman with dark hair was real rude and made me feel like we was bothering her by eating at a table. She never checked in on our table and my son had to walk our cups up to the counter to get refills while she standing there talking to another employee. She gave him attitude that she had to refill them. The other time last week I tried asking about things on the menu and she was real snippy and made me feel like I was asking dumb questions. She acted that way to the other tables by me to so it wasn’t just picking on me. The good thing is that the real good food makes things better. I had been telling my son that lives in Texas how good it was and when I finally got a chance to let him see for hisself it wasn’t a good experience other than the food. I’ll just stick to the drivethru from now on.
