While the prices seem high to some, if you compare to the ridiculous amounts that you pay at Colorado ski resorts, this is a bargain! Great selection of beers, and the green chili Bloody Mary hits the spot. I would love to see more chairs in the sun.

Food is fine. Would’ve given 4 stars if it weren’t for the distractingly awful music playing. I’m not that old, I promise. All that was playing was incredibly annoying pop music with really irritating vocalists all the time. Makes me wanna ski more I guess.

Decent breakfast, overpriced lunch. Won’t serve over 21 year olds beer because our valid Texas license is Vertical. Just go to Colorado

This was my first time visiting Angelfire, or any ski resort for that matter. And it was spring break on top of that. So I’m assuming not the best time to get a good first impression.
Stopped in to the Village Haus during the lunch rush to take a break and grab some food. It was super busy, and had a hard time finding a table. Basically we moved in on a table as the last group was getting up. As we ate, we noticed that at least a half a dozen tables were groups of mom’s camped out, holding the tables while their precious little urchins were out skiing.
The prices at the Village Haus reflect that they certainly know they have a captured audience. The charge for a turkey wrap, frito pie and medium drink was $42. But, I guess it was better than leaving, and coming back, so…..

Recommended: Give it a try
Will I come back? : Probably not
Remarks: Foods take a long time to be ready during the holiday hours (we ordered two pepperoni pizzas at 3PM, 12/25/18, and it took 40 minutes). Pizzas were okay compared to pizza shop.
The bar has multiple choices for drinks. However, draft beers are limited to few selections. Bartenders are kind of cold, probably due to the snow and cold weather outside 😉

Would not accept my vertical id at the bar and I’m mad about it. That’s all really, food is good price is not too bad for a resort.

Families bring grandma or both grandparents and have them sit at a table all day, or they alternate runs. Literally people hog the tables all day leaving someone behind with all their gear without buying anything to eat or drink, they just sit there reading on their kindle or watching Netflix. When you ask management if that’s allowed, they say no and then proceed to not do anything about it. Meanwhile people are having to eat outside in the snow and cold just because selfish individuals want to hog up the tables even of they aren’t using them.

It expensive here and the food is ok. 9$~ for a beer so if you have the ability to bring your own goods that may be worth the hassle.

Will not sell to people over 21 with a valid vertical ID from Texas. Unacceptable.
