I stopped by this weekend for food delicious and hot as always! The women that answered the phone said her name was lexy, she was very helpful with prices and nice enough to tell me if I come Wednesday I can get 25% off on deep dish pizza i had ordered. Very nice lady, along with others I don’t think anyone was ever rude, stressed or didn’t show good service while I was there. Probably my favorite pizza shop around

Fantastic pizza, easily the best in rhe area. Sandwiches and salads are great too. Im a big fan of their double dough and chicago style. Rosatjs sauce is amazing!

Quick, hot delivery most nights, although weekends get busy and can take a bit longer.

Pick up can get backsd up sometimes when its busy but attentive staff never make me feel like Im invisible and 2 of the counter people remember my name when I come in.

I do wish they had more seating inside. Its difficult to eat a slice in the car they are so large

I recommend this Rosatis.

Pizza was what I would expect from a Rosati’s as I’ve visited several in the Chicagoland area over the years. However, I will not go back to the Wauconda location due to deceptive practices. When I go in to pick up my pizza, the cashier asks me “cash or credit.” I pay with my credit card and am only given my receipt when I ask for it. I look at the receipt and see a charge labeled “Technology Fee.” I ask what it is and they say it’s a fee for using a credit card. If that’s the case, just call it what it is instead of trying to hide it using other terminology. I don’t have a problem with the fee itself, but there were a few problems with how this location implements the fee. First, the fee was over 4.3% of the total. A quick Google search indicates most merchants are charged between 1.5-3.5% so I’m wondering if this location is not only passing the charge to the consumer, but profiting off it! Either that, or they are being overcharged by the credit card companies. Second, I did not appreciate the fact that this fee was not disclosed prior to payment. Had I known, I would’ve paid cash. This combined with the fact that I was not offered a receipt until I had to ask for it makes me wonder how many unsuspecting people are being taken advantage of. Had I not asked for a receipt, I likely would’ve never known that I was being charged extra without my knowledge, which is a completely inappropriate practice.

This is how I got pizza been a customer for years and this is the first time and it’s sad and when I went in to order the cashier was sleeping at the front desk I had to say hello hello hello and she says o hi and when I did call to complaining about the pizza she had me on hold for 20 minutes and then they hung up on me

Ordered a Cheesy beef extra dry with fries well-done. Beef sandwich showed up so wet the entire bottom of the bun fell out leaving me with nothing more than a soggy loaf of bread and a plate full of Italian beef and the fries were barely warm. Shame because we ordered from here before and the food was on point

Poorly Managed!

We placed an order for delivery from this place this past Sunday and aside from being very pricey, the place is clearly poorly managed. The order was placed at 9:00pm and was delivered at 10:20pm. And only after I called again after an hour to check if the order was still being made or being delivered. After they delivered it, we found the Rosati’s sampler we ordered only contained mushrooms and jalapeño poppers…. it was late, kids were hungry so we just left it at that. The pizza was ok in taste but a bit salty and not according to what we come to expect from a Rosati’s place. will not be ordering from this place again. I would stay away.

Try this: Pan Handler’s in Wauconda is very well priced and their pies are amazing !!!

$67 on Easter Dinner with a hair in my food. The Manager and Associate apologized and said things happen and we are sorry and only credited me back for 1 XL pizza in which the hair was found.

When I asked yesterday if the manager would follow up with me about this manner. The person on the phone commented “Why would he? I am refunding you back your money for 1 pizza.”

My contribution to Easter was ruined and $23.99 was the refund and the fix for this situation. This solution was given to me after I declined the remaking of a pizza and for me to pick it up.

Never would go back
Calling the Manager this morning and having him repeat the line “ Things does happen. We can make 500 pizza and unfortunately this happen.”

“Things does happen” line came from the employee who worked under him as well.

I’ve eaten at Rosatis for years and have always had middle-of-the-line, decent experiences there. Not great, not horrible. Until tonight. We ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich, baked mostaccoli, and ribs. The baked mostaccoli was delicious and is the only reason for the 2 starts instead of 1.

The ribs were pretty bad. They were tough, like they hadn’t been cooked long enough.

The sandwich, though, was absolutely horrific. The chicken was noticeably charred and burnt to the point that I don’t even know how an employee of Rosati’s could have put that on a sandwich and decided to send that out to a customer for delivery. It was disgusting. Below is a picture of the chicken (bread and cheese not pictured since I picked the chicken off and ate just the bread and cheese since it was the only edible part of the item!). I’ve never had worse food delivered to me, and after spending over $40 on this meal, I’ve never felt so ripped off. I won’t be ordering from Rosati’s again if this is the quality of food I can expect them to be okay with serving their customers.
