It might have been on an off day but that rice for the sushi was either made with not enough water or express mode and I remember it tasting better in the past. Wife found a hair but I think that just happens sometimes so kind of whatever. Might go alone if there is such a time since my wife said she won’t go again

People talk about hole in the wall places being good; this place isn’t just good, it’s phenomenal. Chef Das prepared one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in my life. The fatty tuna nigiri took my wife and I to an extraordinary level of happiness; we could not help but have big smiles while we ate. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our hot tea did not run out nor did my wife’s water. The service was impeccable, the staff were very polite and friendly. I’ve seen reviews about the floors being carpeted – that is no longer the case and there is a beautiful hardwood floor. The environment was clean.
I cannot wait to revisit this gem. It will absolutely be in our rotation of special restaurants to eat at.

The most authentic Japanese restaurant I’ve been to in Michigan, fantastic atmosphere, small seating area that feels legit. Soft shell crab was cooked perfectly, huge variety of options from authentic Japanese to “USA” style sushi.

Food was not impressive to me, maybe I’ve been spoiled by other Sushi places. I did take out, service was alright, atmosphere had a classic older Japanese vibe. Overall though, I believe I will not order here again. Just my own personal experience. I wish them the best and hope they improve quality. I will say this, the amount of food was sufficient though.

I have been a long standing customer here. Food has always been great and the chef is really nice. However, lately the waitress taking our orders has been very rude. She throws the menu at you and looks upset you are even there. Again, food is amazing and we keep going back because of it but the experience lately has been very poor.
