A really great place to get a bite to eat! the staff is exceptional, and I have never seen a plate of meat enjoyed so thoroughly. I recommend the family platter, with 7lbs of meat, 4 sides and Texas Toast. Share it with friends or tackle it yourself, if you really want to. you won’t be disappointed. 🙂

Pleasantly surprised! Took family here for first time 2 nights ago. My wife and I ordered the BBQ sampler for 2. It included ribs, brisquit, pulled pork, and chicken along w 2 sides. Delicious. The meat was all cooked perfectly and was smoky flavored and tender. Prices were very reasonable. I hope this place stays open and word of mouth gets out because it’s a hidden gem. Recommended.

Good BBQ, but the beef ribs and corn bread had a strange metallic flavor. The ribs were also a bit dry and on the burnt side. New smoker maybe? The portions are awesome and fair priced. The pulled pork is amazing especially over the nachos.

Andy was our server and he was lovely. We had a BBQ wedding and for our anniversary we were excited to find this authentic BBQ place. The big smoker outside just. Our mouthed water and we were not disappointed by our brisket, Georgia hot dog topped with Mac and cheese, fried pickles and fried okra. Great portion size, smoky flavor, good selection of sauces. Not usually something I would mention in a review but the coleslaw was also excellent. We were suprised at the end by complimentary chocolate cake. Great pick for our special night out.

Best barbeque I’ve had in New Jersey. The ribs are delicious and fall off the bone tender, the chicken is wonderful with a great rub. The pork and brisket are also really good. They smoke the meats right outside and everything has a great flavor. They also have a selection of tasty sauces right on the table. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I tried Nik’s Finer Diner today and we were both extremely disappointed. My husband ordered breakfast of 2 eggs over easy, sausage, and well done hash browns. He was told that it was definitely not link sausage. When his plate arrived the eggs were over done, hash browns looked like they were laying there for quite awhile, and it was link sausage.
I ordered a Greek salad with grilled shrimp. The wait for our food was VERY LONG, there was only 1 other customer in the diner. When my salad came there was no grilled shrimp. The server didn’t realize it, when I told him he did get an order of grilled shrimp, by the time it arrived I was more than halfway thru the salad. The salad itself was nothing special and the feta cheese actually had no flavor.
I read reviews before we left and for the most part they were very good. I was looking forward to a good lunch, but it didn’t happen at Nik’s.

Had the brisket sandwich and some fried pickles. Wasn’t impressed that cheese cost extra. The brisket itself was tender, but a bit under seasoned. I also tried some of my friend’s st Louis ribs. The smoke was extremely harsh, very acidic to the point of being slightly unpleasant. The fries served were definitely pre-frozen fries. Portions were good and overall price was ok.
Overall, food was good, but not great. I’d give a 3.5 if I could.

Simple great! Great service and food. Reasonably priced! Looking for good hamburgers to pulled pork, brisket and yummie Mac and cheese-this is the place. Oh can’t forget sweet potatoes fries and regular fries! My family of 6 truly enjoyed it and will be back again!

Very good food. Service was prompt & friendly. Variety of BBQ sauces were perfect. Ribs were juicy & fell off bone. Texas toast was also a plus. The coleslaw and baked beans were home made. Nice atmosphere!
