Dinner & Show and service with a smile. Excellent authentic Italian pizza joint on Historic Sistrunk. Limited seating so take it to go, but while you wait watch them make your pizza in the open kitchen. Throwing rolling and kneading dough like the legacies their shirts say they are! As a former NYC resident, stop looking. I know its been hard out there to find a proper slice, but come to Big Louies your search is over!

The food here is amazing, this is my first time around the area and I needed something to eat and thought why not try the place out. Their walk in menu is great, the prices are reasonable and the food definitely is worth it. I’ve gone back 3 times within 2 days. I’m from New York so I know what good pizza is like, and this definitely is top 5. Even their wings and burgers are amazing, everything there is just amazing. Those are just 2 slices which also come with a coke for $5.99.

We ordered $35 worth of food the first night through Slice. They were supposed to close at 10pm and the cook had to leave early and close early. My wife arrived to pick up the food and the food was sitting in boxes on the ground with bugs crawling on them. The server who had waited with the food said she had been outside for 30 minutes with our food. OK, accidents happen, emergencies happen. The food was hastily prepared, all of the specialty pizza seemed to be an old piece of cheese or pepperoni with toppings thrown on and reheated. The rollatini was advertised as thinly sliced eggplant wrapped around ricotta and marinara sauce with melted cheese on top. What we received was a metal tin of ricotta with a layer of eggplant, slathered in marinara and barely melted cheese. Functionally it was more akin to an eggplant parmesan sans noodles than how they advertised it. My wife’s salad didnt have any dressing. But again, emergencies happen.

We called the next day and made the store aware of the scenario and Misty was very great with my wife and offered to make it better. She was amazing and offered exceptional customer service. She offered to replace it all, free of charge. We appreciated the gesture and, wanting to support a small business (reassured by the exceptional customer service) we took her up on her offer and placed an additional order for about $50. We got a Sicilian style cheese pizza, tiramisu, a canoli, and a couple of salads.

The quality of the food was terrible. It was not a hasty accident. They just serve bad pizza. The Sicilian pizza bubbled so badly and all the cheese ran to the edges while the sauce dried out. My children refused to eat it because they insisted it was pepperoni pizza because it honestly was so dry it looked like pepperonis were on it. The tiramisu came thrown in a container and smeared all over the container. The replaced individual slices were once again already cooked slices with additional toppings thrown on and poorly reheated until the new cheese on top was barely melted. The only thing that looked edible was the canolli but we were so put off by the rest of the food we didnt even eat that.

My wife picked up the order at 7 pm and I returned ALL of the food, from both nights, at 830pm when I got home from work so that my wife didnt have to load the kids up to return the food. I did not ask for a refund and did not ask them to replace the food. I understand that small restaurants run on razor thin margins and did not want to put them out in a financial way. I just wanted them to know that we were very unsatisfied with the quality (as Misty had asked us to provide feedback).

A cook told me that I that I was lying. That of course the food looked bad, it had been 4 hours since it had been picked up etc. He proceeded to throw a temper tantrum and aggressively grab the food of the counter to throw it away, knocking multiple boxes to the floor.

I really wish things had gone differently. At a lower price point, with a more honest depiction of the food that they are selling, the experience would have been fine and less upsetting.

Can’t speak enough to the quality of customer service that Misty provided though. Absolutely stellar, kind person.

Surprisingly the pizza was really good. The restaurant puts me in the mindset of Spike Lee’s movie Do the Right Thing.

It’s a bit outdated and could use a deep clean but you know the old saying “the old pots and pans and the old restaurants got the best food “

Oh man, where do I even start with Big Louie’s Pizza in Fort Lauderdale? This place is like that shady uncle who promises you a Rolex but hands you a broken Casio from 1987. First off, their pizza tastes like they baked it on a cardboard box they found in the alley—soggy crust, cheese that might be recycled rubber, and sauce that’s basically watered-down ketchup with a grudge. I wouldn’t feed this to my worst enemy… actually, scratch that, I totally would, just to watch them suffer.
But wait, it gets better (or worse, depending on your masochism level). These geniuses moonlight as a breakfast spot on DoorDash under the name “Breakfast Boy.” Sounds cute, right? Wrong. It’s a total scam operation. I ordered their breakfast sandwich, hyped up with “sausage patties” on the menu, and what shows up? A pathetic pile of sausage crumbs that look like they swept the floor after a pig exploded. And don’t get me started on the tots—they arrive “deconstructed,” which is code for “we forgot how to cook and just dumped raw potato shreds in a bag.” Not on purpose? Please, that’s their signature move: false advertising wrapped in laziness.
Save your money, folks. This joint is a rip-off masquerading as food. One star only because zero isn’t an option. Avoid like the plague—or better yet, like their pizza.

Worst pizza evermore.
The flavored is so nasty. I would take a frozen pizza over this gross mess.
Shame on them for calling this pizza. They know not what they do. Do not come here. Beware. Keep Out.

Edit: Thank you for your corperate reply. It is a soulless as your pizza.
