We had an amazing dining experience at this Japanese restaurant today! Everything was so fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls and salmon nigiri were top quality, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
We also loved the grilled beef skewers — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The corn appetizer was surprisingly tasty and seasoned perfectly. And the dessert was the perfect ending: sweet, creamy, and beautifully plated with fresh fruit and chocolate drizzle.
The portions were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied (and very full!). Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend — we will definitely come back!

I’ve eaten a lot of sushi and chicken fried rice over the years, and Yakitori absolutely blew me away.
The food is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The sushi is top-notch, and the chicken fried rice is easily one of the best I’ve had. On top of that, the service is outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

5 stars for service – waitress was great
3 stars for sushi – rice was lacking sufficient rice vinegar and fish was not great. Cooked maki (shrimp tempura) was fine. I am used to paying a lot for sushi and the sushi here was too expensive for being mediocre.
4 stars for cooked Thai food – the members of our party who went with cooked Thai food liked theirs.

Family favorite. We have been coming here for years (even when it was previously Daimatsu) and come here often. Not the best sushi (we are Asian so we are picky), but it’s pretty good. Great happy hour. Great service, we really like everyone who works here. See you soon.

Amazing place. Yakitori Sushi House in Delray Beach is easily one of the best sushi spots around the Turnpike. My only complaint is that it is twenty five minutes from my home and not ten minutes or less, because I would be here even more often.
The food is outstanding, always fresh, always full of flavor, and the quality is phenomenal. The fish is super fresh, the menu is excellent, and everything we have ordered so far has been perfect. The staff is very polite, friendly, and always makes us feel welcome. Service is great and the wait time is normal, sometimes a little longer when it gets busy, which is completely expected for a popular place.
Parking is easy, the restaurant is comfortable, and honestly there is nothing to complain about. We have already been back many times and will keep going. Thank you guys for the great food and amazing service.

I’m sad to leave a one-star review because I’ve loved this place for a year, but my last experience was very disappointing. I visited with my family, and while my niece’s salmon bagel roll was delicious with huge salmon pieces, my “Out of Control” roll was lacking. It had barely any meat inside, and when I asked the waitress about it, she just said it was the same and walked away quickly. I felt ignored and upset that they wouldn’t make me a new roll, especially for the high prices they charge. It’s frustrating to see such inconsistency in quality

Had a reservation. Baby included…Waited an hour and 15 min for 2 rolls& fried rice & duck app…Thats was our. dinner. While duck app was supposed to come with rice never happened, or the order. We did order & have soup and 1 saki that came pretty quick. After waiting and watching other table’s coming and going we said something…nothing happened, waitres, nothing, manager…we said were leaving. I offered to pay for the soup and saki. Do you think there was an apology? Please come back? I paid and she accepted with nothing accept I don’t know what u want me to do. Honestly my son and his wife told me I shouldn’t have bothered to pay for the drink and soup. I thought it was the right thing. Money wasted. Not only is the food excellent, well prepared, and served with style the price is reasonable. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff will help with orders and give you suggestions for the appropriate amount to order.
We went again on 2/4/2024 and the Sushi was just as good, again I would give this a 5 start review especially as it was just as good on the second visit.
They say you cannot go back again and maybe they are correct. On our third visit things were not as good, the portions diminished, the price the same, and the quality was not there. And on our fourth visit (4) 3/28/2025 things are back to excellent. We even were able to change the dish we ordered to remove the rice and add more greens.

I went there recently on a Saturday night with reservations for 5. It took 1 hour for me to get my pork/shrimp shumai and chicken pad thai. It took 45 minutes for my granddaughter to get her noodle dish. Excessive wait time!!!! Waitress was apologetic but not acceptable.
Food was tasty but likely will not go there again due to longggggggg wait for food. Very loud also.
