Really good old school Italian. Classy but comfortable, with the classic Italian dishes done exceptionally well. Don’t expect linguini with clam sauce. Expect linguine con vongole to die for.

Recommend much of the menu, especially love the mozzarella & brescaola with roasted peppers to start….a simple dish but super fresh mozzarella and thinly sliced brescaola. For dinner, especially love the brasciole that Paulirle makes fresh daily. The pasta with salsicca is also terrific as are all the fish dishes.
Wine list is varied with great options. I love the Donna Toscana red. All the traditional desserts, plus a most delicious carrot cake.
Top it off with an espresso with some sambuca in it.

I had dinner on Saturday, Nov 8 2025, and I chose chicken Marsala, with string beans and potato. Although the taste was very good, the portion was very, very small. I received about 1/4 to 1/5 of a chicken cutlet, 1/4 to 1/5 of a potato and a few string beans. Needless to say, I was still hungry after my meal. Most Italian restaurants provide you with plenty of food and I disappointed to say the least.

The food is good but … the server tell a price of a special of the day at 45.75 … and when the invoice come …. 52.75 was charged … we tell him … and he said that the price have changed last week … He finally change the price but for 49.75 … 4.00$ more ( better than 7.00 $ ) …
And when we received the sheet to pay by credit card … 6.00$ more have been charged … he said because we pay by credit card …
The server was very mad at us and tell me than he hope to never see us again because I pay less his tips for the mistake in the price that his charge us and the extra charge for credit card…
We think that because we are not from the city … he abuse us ..,
We were very insulted …

This is a throwback to the family run Italian Restaurants of the 50’s and 60’s I knew as a kid. I felt comfortable 45-60 seconds after I sat down. No presence here, just great food and service…and you can have a conversation with your friends without leaning in or shouting…worth the adventure finding it!
