05/18/22 Ordered the Panzon burrito at 17$ and some change . It should have more ingredients in it . And one of those is jumbo shrimp. I have no jumbo shrimp in my burrito. Only beef and small pieces of steak . Not sure if I’ll go back .

I walked to the window ordered, was told my order would be right out. I waited in the car for 30 mins. Finally I went back up to the window and my cold food was given to me. They asked for a tip on a $6 taco then they don’t even bring it to your car. Will NEVER go here again. Overpriced and bad service.

These people are passionate and it shows in the food. I got the surf n turf burrito and a steak taco. Very tender meat tongue-able and flavorful. Enough to bring me out of review retirement! Definitely stop by and check this place out.

My wife ordered the surd & turf tacos for $5.99 . Disappointing and very pricey. One piece of shrimp cur in 3 and no extras.

Placed my order online (through Google), only to get to the restaurant & be told they no longer accept online orders & I would need to contact DoorDash for a refund. No attempt to make it right or take a new order so I asked if I could place a new order. The girl said I could, took my order, I went back to my car to wait. 30 minutes later I was still waiting. Finally went to the window to see my order sitting next to it.
The quality & size of the burritos have gone downhill since they opened. Burritos are much smaller & have much less meat. Half the meat on the quesadillas was just fat.
Service & quality both need serious improvement.

I really wanted to give a good review after waiting over 45 minutes for my order, but this is NOT a fast food place, it’s a carry out, so that’s been redeemed. The burritos are decent size and actually had enough meat according to my husband “The Meatatarian”, but the burrito bowl was mostly beans and rice with some carne asada sprinkled in. The quesadillas are very small and you get 2 in your order for $6.50. The sauce they give on the side is very citrus and cilantro-smelling, and doesn’t really add much flavor. The tacos are the outstanding menu item. All items are very salty. You only get about a tablespoon of sauce in each side(container), so that’s disappointing because it may have added something to the items. Overall, it’s overpriced, a long wait, and one of my orders of tacos was missing. I may return for the tacos, but will definitely order in advance.

Great place. Craving more vegetables in the burritos ! I like my sauce more bold. So this is what you gotta do. Those hundreds of Diablo sauce from Taco Bell you get? Well bring em with you and light your night on fire with their handmade burritos. Step one: place three packets one on top of another, rip open all three corners at once, and squeeze. Enjoy that fire.

Very expensive for what it is. Have had way way better for less. The taco was different but not horrible but the burrito was flavorless. The little thing of salsa is pretty good but not close to enough to put flavor in the burrito. Had to laugh at the little thing of “queso” nacho cheese you get from a gas station I paid a $1 for. Does not come close to really good Mexican food. But Will say it’s better than Taco Bell

So we moved here 2 years ago. Tonight was the 3rd try we’ve given this place given the limited options in this town. We called to order our food a lady answered the phone and was very short and abrasive. They had a young boy working who took 5 minutes to count my change while I’m standing there in 20 degree weather.

Listen, every time we’ve went there they only offered carne asada (not a good business model) and it usually overly salted, my wife got a burrito bowl and it was ice cold. Also the wait times are always 30+ minutes. Lastly I’ll say they are extremely over priced in a city that’s very unforgiving. A lot needs to change, add other meat options, hire people that aren’t family and are actually happy to serve customers and don’t make customers come to the window when it’s ice cold outside.

Won’t be eating here again nor will we recommend anyone else to.

One of the best places to eat in Newton or even the surrounding areas.

Update: since opening their location in Wichita, the service at the one in Newton has suffered greatly. The food is delicious but I think I’ll start calling an hour in advance. Last time I was here I waited an hour for four tacos; today I have been waiting 45 minutes for six. There is no one else here. I really really like the food here, so I hope they start treating their original location like the one in Wichita.
