Hidden gem, amazing. Try the chicken bacon ranch pizza, it’s got ranch and red sauce, delicious and unique. Very comfortable outside seating, nestled in the forest, and picnic tables and night lighting super cozy. Friendly staff, and neighbors were a fun bunch and welcoming. Great beer options, healthy salads, and only an hour from Callahan. This place is worth the drive, I can’t wait to go back and try a calzone.
Update 4/2024: The chicken canzone was amazing. I also had the chicken Bacon Ranch pizza again and it was very good. Same friendly staff, comfortable outdoors seating. This place is truly a gem, consistent overall, and well worth the beautiful drive. Again, I can’t wait to come back again and try their sandwiches.

Wow, what a fantastic gem in the middle of a beautiful wilderness area. While I’m sure they could get away with mediocre pizza, they choose the high road. Perfect crust, excellent toppings in just the right proportions and friendly people to boot! A beautiful outdoor seating area. What else could you want?!? I’m stopping here every time I pass through I love it!

Best pizza joint in Trinity County! The woodfired pizza is fantastic and the beer prices are very reasonable! You can get a pitcher of beer for around. And the service is friendly and in the summer they have live music.

TrailHead Pizza was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff was super friendly. The pizza itself was out of this world — perfectly cooked crust, loaded with fresh toppings, and so full of flavor in every bite. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they make. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great pizza!

Trailhead Pizza is one of the true gems in the Trinity Lake area. Great food and hospitality. Wine and beer. Sometimes you have to be patient when they’re really busy but it’s worth it. Indoor and outdoor seating, (I prefer outside). Live music on the stage out back. Highly recommend!

The “Blue Artichoke” pizza is the BEST!! I know it sounds weird, but it has grapes on it, which makes it refreshing and sweet to balance the earthiness of the artichokes and pine nuts; I’ve never had a pizza this good anywhere else! We go camping at Trinity Lake every year and always have to go to Trailhead Pizza!
The staff is also super friendly, and the outdoor patio is a little pocket of paradise.
