Had to wait over 10 minutes for 8 piece butter fly shrimp combo 8:30pm on a Sunday night with no other customers in the store. The fries were cold and not crunchy. The female employee was rude, and the male employee was throwing things around while preparing my food. This is why people dont eat at Popeyes, and why the workers find themselves on social media getting cursed out.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this Popeyes on Midlothian Turnpike. I didn’t realize that they had made menu changes and no longer offer any type of seafood. But, that wasn’t the full cause of my frustration. I ordered a basic meal and was told it would be a five minute wait. Twenty minutes later my order was brought out to me and had spilled in the bag. Although the manager cleaned up the containers and gave me a new side, his comment when I entered the store made me believe he knew that there was a problem when he brought the food to me. Also, the cost of the boneless chicken wing combo is not a good value in my opinion. This location seems to have a continuous turn over of management which may be affecting the consistency of their service.

Went in for an early lunch when they opened up at 10am. Food was hot and fresh. The supervisor greeted me. I told him I placed an online order. It was waiting for me. He gave me a tray and I ate inside. Y’all $7 for 2 pieces of dark meat a biscuit and 2 regular sides and a free drink using my app points. Best lunch hands down.

Stopped in Friday (their 2nd day open) and ordered a family meal to go. The interior of the restaurant was clean, inviting and spacious.
Our only hiccup was we ordered 2 strawberry biscuits but they only had 1 left but they offered us an apple pie instead. Despite the staff being overwhelmed they were polite and accommodating!

I love Popeye’s chicken. Been eating at various Popeye’s for over 40 years. My last 3 orders from the Midlothian turnpike has not been good. On 9/24 my order was supposed to have a biscuit and I didn’t get it. On 9/28 order was to include 2 biscuits and only got one. Today ordered one of the specials that included 5 pieces of chicken and I received 4 wings and 1 breast. The wings were so over cooked and dry. Was some of the worse chicken I’ve ever had at Popeye’s.

The service has degraded tremendous since first opening a few years ago. It has gone from smiles and greetings to being absolutely ignored standing at the counter, to sitting in the mobile order parking space and being handed the wrong mobile order to having to go in only to find out they have never ever started the order, even after going through the drive thru to let them know own we are here. Whomever owns this location please send a bit more time accessing your employee attitude as well as their desire to actually do the job you are paying them to do. Is it to much to ask for your presence to be at a minimum my presence be acknowledged. Not worth the $35 for the aggravation.

This is the worst location. Slow slow SLOW. Over 40 minutes for an online order of 4 large fries and 16 tenders.
The employees working the day shift are rude and inattentive.
Somehow after waiting 40 minutes I still got cold fries.
I will say the store is very clean.

I hesitated to order pick up because my past two mobile orders have been awful.with not having orders ready at scheduled time and waiting up to 20+ minutes. This order was ready, but was incorrect. I ordered boneless wings and received bone in. Instead of 2 large sides I received two small. My order was simple and staff couldn’t manage to get it correct. Corporate needs to come to this location and clean it up.

Seemed like an inconvenience when going through the drive thru. Second the other review in that it takes forever to get your food, usually items are missing, and are always out of things and won’t make more in the middle of being open. Recommend other Popeye’s.
