A cute cafe with simple eats that are tasty! The white chocolate mocha was good but a lot of ice so maybe mention light ice. The breafast sandwich was good but everyone raved about the chocolate chip cookies! They are heavenly!

A quaint little cafe nestled in the picturesque old Milford downtown. Next door is an open public parking lot and plenty of street parking all free. This place is darling and pocket sized seating so not conducive to large groups, but perfect for 4 or less. It was heartwarming to see many groups of older friends meeting up to chat. The food was phenomenal! I had the prosciutto eggplant sandwich with fresh mozzarella and arugula and a hot caramel latte. All of the breakfast options looked delicious, but I wanted to try the special since I love eggplant but have never perfected cooking it. It was grilled, crispy with nice salty touch of prosciutto, and the peppery profile of arugula and fresh hearty mozzarella with a sauce I can’t remember. The bread was also delicious it was a wonderful fresh treat in the middle of winter when you just crave great fruits and vegetables. The latte was also served in a reusable mug which I appreciate. The staff were attentive and friendly. It’s marvelous to see a woman owned and operated business.

A quaint place on the edge of scenic downtown Milford on the main drag. The place was very nice filled with friendly people. Locally grown items are used in their cooking. We ordered breakfast which was awesome!! Scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, potatoes with a sliced tomato and English muffin!! The presentation was nice and the food was fantastic!! Thank you May Cafe!!

I just loved the whole Milford’s Main Street and this little rest made it feel even more local, homemade & cozy! The piece of salmon could have been larger but the soup+sandwich combo was perfect. The leek soup was dreamy!

I come here mainly for breakfast, but lunch is very good too. If you are looking for a fastfood sausage biscuit with cheese, this is not the place. I had the #1 for breakfast, very tasty. Bread topped with Prosciutto, two eggs, arugula and diced tomatoes.

I had the Belgian waffle breakfast special and it was SO GOOD! The flavors were perfectly balanced. With tart fresh berries, maple syrup and fresh whipped cream and a crispy yet soft waffle, it was light, fresh and not at all overly sweet. Like most Main Street buildings, it’s limited on size so make sure to call ahead to check seating availability. We did see a lot of people picking up food to go, too.

I heard about this place from my barber. I ordered the toasted focaccia bread topped with prosciutto or ham, two fried eggs, feta cheese, arugula, diced tomato, extra-virgin olive oil, and spices. This is not a meal I typically order. My go to is usually bacon and eggs, or eggs benedict. So this was stepping outside of my comfort zone and I’m glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. The latte was one of the best I’ve had. I personally appreciate the large cups, especially in the morning. I will, without a doubt, be returning to May Cafe.

Really friendly folks who shyly sing opera in the kitchen after checking that you like what’s on your plate. Bring a dictionary if you want to eavesdrop — some real philosophers dine here.
