Before the remodel, the store had plenty of seating. Now there are only a few seats left, and the ones they use are very uncomfortable. Most of the space behind the counter has been cleared out for staff use only, leaving customers with almost nowhere comfortable to sit. With seating this limited and uncomfortable, it’s going to be very hard to attract customers back to the store.
Even when there are only a few customers in the store, the wait times are still extremely long. My orders routinely take more than 20 minutes, with no explanation and no sense of urgency.
What makes it even more frustrating is the inconsistency in service. Spanish-speaking customers who raise concerns get their drinks immediately, but English-speaking people like me complain and they just simply ask me to be patient. And unfortunately, the drinks often aren’t made correctly.
It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be excellent decline so much after the remodel. I sincerely hope management steps in and brings this location back to the standard it once had.
I ordered the wrong drink so when I got to the window I asked them to make the right one as had gotten it wrong. 2nd one of my drinks They made it grande and I ordered venti. 3rd they remake it they filled my Gcup of caramel more than m coffee because of evil customer service. In the photo you can see how much caramel they put in, what a bad experience out of All the Starbucks I been to!
We thought none of it that going to get coffee at night wouldn’t be a bad idea. So we ordered ahead and she orders a mocha and a ham and cheese croissant, myself an iced coffee. The coffee is always great and thank my lucky stars I am not sick. My concern is that she took a bite and noted her food was not as warm as she would receive it, like steam coming out of the pastry which is common and we know it’d be cooked. Anyway, she thought none of it and microwaved it and ate it. Obviously you’d think the story is over but it’s always severe to hear a loved one having a bad time the next morning. I am overall still happy with coffee at the location but am always going to be concerned I order the same croissant item and get the same results.
