we tried the breaded and grilled tenderloins at the corner Cafe in Flora Indiana. they buy these from a local provider. pretty sure they were tenderloins and not fritters. actually pretty good with nice thick pork and a light batter on the breaded one. not greasy at all. tots are nice and crispy. those chip like things are called Gibby fries basically homemade potato chips. not a destination , but holds its own if you’re in the area. two tenderloins, fries and tots rang up around $23.

Friendly atmosphere. They were shorthanded the day we ate there, Labor Day. It appeared only 2 people were working, cook and server. If grits is on the menu, I order it. It was perfect. The biscuits and sausage gravy was salty with little sausage. Our link sausage was not cooked and was sent back. If we were in the area we would probably give them another try. It was crowded with locals.

I come here on my lunch hour weekly and after just a couple visits the staff already knows my name, exactly what I order and how I want it. They are friendly, prompt and thorough. My favorite spot in Flora! And all day breakfast can’t beat that!

Corner omelets are good. The older man in the kitchen cooks them the best.
