Excellent place to enjoy well-made Mexican food. Everything is delicious: the menudo has great flavor, the steamed tacos are soft and full of taste, the gorditas are well filled, and the tortas ahogadas have that traditional touch that’s hard to find. To finish, the biónicos are the perfect ending—fresh and well balanced. You can really tell the care and quality in every dish. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

Good carne asada taco. A little grissle but the pickled onion made up for it. Green sauce was thin but tasty. Orangish red didn’t seem as spicy as La Parada but was still spicy to me. Both sauces came with the taco. About $6.25

This place was definitely worth the drive! We ordered two Torta Ogadas .. the Bolio (bread) was fresh, crunchy, just so tasty… perfect for soaking in the sauces! Comes with a bean or potato filled fried taco that you can also dip in the sauce. Súper rico. Everyone was nice, service was good too. Small shop, stays busy, servers are working hard… Tamales sold out in the morning. Will try next time!

This is a hidden local gem! The owner is wonderful, she has suggested several different items for us to try and they are awesome. It’s so much more than just a great ice cream shop. They have wonderful deep fried tacos, tamales, they have this delicious tangy red sauce, sweet custard treats and don’t forget the street corn in a cup!

The food was really good and they have a big variety of other snacks you can buy as well. I went with some Spanish speaking friends and they ordered for me, I’m not too sure on how easy it will be to order as a non-spanish speaker. Overall, very good food and pretty cheap.
