For those on Redstone Arsenal that don’t already know, this little sandwich and coffee shop is co-located with the MWR Ticket office and ACS. They have a good variety of sub sandwiches and snacks/drinks and also offer Starbucks coffee flavors at a slightly lower price than a regular Starbucks chain. Highly recommend for a quick bite at lunch. Plenty of seating inside.

I always enjoy dining here. It’s a nice quiet place, they have wifi if needed. The food is great. The brisket, soups & chicken Caesar salad are my go-to! Employees are great and go the extra mile when special requests are made. Check it out, and see what your favorite is!

If you’re on base you could do worse than the Java Cafe. The sandwiches are ample in size and they taste good. There is nice seating inside and outside and the wait staff are nice. The drinks are self-serve at the soda fountain so you don’t have to wait on anyone to bring you drinks.

Nice surprise. Great tasting sandwiches – loaded with deli meats. Fresh bread and served with a smile. Sandwiches are big enough to share! Visited twice and pleased both times.

The Java Cafe is the best java spot in Redstone. I have been coming here for five years and have never been let down. The customer service that is provided here is among the best I’ve encountered. The java offers a variety of of breakfast and lunch food that is perfect for any cravings. The lattes are unsurpassed by even Starbucks. Andy, the manager is an awesome person who is very customer oriented. When you come to Java ask for Alex. Alex will go to great lengths to make a customer feel special. Lauren prepares the best coffee / drinks anywhere. She makes all her coffee with love and that’s a love you can taste in each cup of java. Rachel pours a lot of love in her sandwich creations. She can really spread the love with each sandwich she prepares. Finally, Jerry is the jack of all trades. This is an excellent spot to come and unwind.

Don’t be fooled by the “proudly brew Starbucks” sign, their latte was one of the worst I’ve had anywhere. The espresso smelled like 10-year-old Folgers and the foam was hollow. If it were a machine in a gas station, I’d have told the clerk it was broken. That said, some coworkers said the drip coffee is ok, and the snacks looked pretty tasty. The building is nice enough and has a comfortable lobby, and the staff was friendly.

This is a very nice place to relax, and enjoy a snack. The facility has several couches and some wall-mounted televisions. It’s quiet, and cozy. There is a small café that serves breakfast things, pastries and sandwiches. There is an eating area that has tables for people to sit and enjoy a meal. It’s a great place to kill a little time if you’re stuck on base with nothing to do for a short while. It’s also a great place to meet with folks during lunch.

I took my grandson to have lunch with me there today, because my friend Larry told me they serve the best sandwiches. My gosh, he was right. I was amazed. Their sandwiches are 2nd to NONE ! It’s the welcome center at the Redstone Arsenal. The place is clean and the employees are very friendly and polite. I highly recommend the welcome center at the Redstone Arsenal if you want a quick delicious sandwich lunch.

Good, quick coffee and sandwich shop on post. The only reason not 5 stars is they dont offer coconut milk for people who cannot have dairy, soy, or nut products.
