This place is so cute! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. I love that you get to cook the skewers yourself, which makes the whole experience fun and interactive. This place is similar to Korean bbq but skewer version. My favorites were the pineapple steak skewers and the spicy lamb. The tofu was also amazing and they even have the seasoning packets to add more flavor. The staff was super kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I am so glad I found this spot and will definitely be coming back with friends.

This place was an absolute blast. Cooking the skewers right at the table made the whole meal such a fun experience. The pricing is honestly fantastic for the quality and how much food you get. It’s easy to try a bunch of different meats and dishes without feeling like the bill is going to sneak up on you. Hands down some of the best Yanbian-style BBQ I’ve had! The absolute highlight was the grilled fish—it was incredibly flavorful. Definitely a must-order item! The lamb skewers were also juicy and seasoned perfectly with the signature cumin spice blend. Great atmosphere for a group dinner and the service was friendly. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Fengmu BBQ several times and the experience has always been great. The ingredients are very fresh and the skewers taste very authentic. Everything is grilled perfectly with great flavor — you can really tell the quality of the food.
The staff are also very warm and attentive. Service is fast and they always make sure customers are taken care of. It makes the whole dining experience very comfortable.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is also really nice, perfect for hanging out with friends and enjoying some BBQ. Definitely a place I keep coming back to. Highly recommended!

I checked out this newly opened Yanbian-style skewers restaurant today, and the food was really good! The lamb and beef were both incredibly tender! Besides the skewers, you absolutely must try their signature peanuts; the flavor is so unique, I loved them. I also enjoyed their garlic-roasted enoki mushrooms, grilled squid, eggplant fried rice, Yanji cold noodles, and rice sausage. I heard their grilled fish is delicious, but unfortunately, it was sold out today. Everything I ordered was great. Most importantly, the environment was very nice and clean, with no smoke at all, which my parents loved. Highly recommended!

The waiters seemed very busy! But I didn’t know what they were busy with! The food took forever to arrive! The grilled eggplant was steamed! The tomahawk lamb chops were boiled first and then grilled! The dried tofu rolls with cilantro were tiny! So cute! Halfway through the meal, a waiter came over to check with me to see what dishes had already been served! I also had to keep an eye on the skewers… I ate until the bill came and still hadn’t received my cold noodles! I said I didn’t want them anymore, and the waiter immediately brought out a bowl of cold noodles! We said we didn’t want them anymore, and then they asked me why? I must have been in kindergarten and can’t swear! Guess why? Because if I waited any longer, I wouldn’t be able to watch the Spring Festival Gala!

This restaurant is quite unique. I passed by today and saw it had just opened, so I decided to check it out with my colleagues. The ingredients seemed very fresh, and the taste was great. I especially loved the grilled beef skewers, while my colleagues preferred the grilled lamb skewers. The chicken cartilage was also good. I can’t handle too much spice, but the dry dipping sauce had five-spice flavor. Many skewer shops I’ve been to have have skewers that are completely unappetizing without chili. I think the skewers at this place are quite delicious even without chili, so the ingredients and marinating process must be excellent. I’ll definitely come back; it sounds like a great idea to enjoy skewers with a few friends on a weekend evening.

The prices on the menu didn’t match the actual quantities shown in the pictures. Accessories cost $2-3 per skewer. It’s semi-self-service, and the skewers use Korean-style seasoning without cumin. The average cost per person is around $40. The ingredients weren’t very fresh.
