Five stars across the board – really!
Staff are super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner is on the site pitching in. The food is outstanding. The ambience is classy. Wines are well chosen. There is an espresso machine.
The chef knows how to cook with wine (in that the flavor comes thorough and complements the dishes – this is a rare skill in my experience)
One minor thing
Tips are included by default when the bill comes around
I was ok with this because the staff deserved it
But I feel that tipping, while not optional, should be left up to the discretion of the customer, especially for small parties (in our case two). It creates an awkward moment at the end that can potentially ruin what otherwise is a highly pleasant experience.
They should change this
But overall, the place is outstanding

Intimate spot for date night or drinks and apps. The “smaller” drink menu dwarfs the food menu, but our dishes were fresh and flavorful. The mussels were excellent. We are not big wine drinkers, but our server worked with us and made great recommendations to pair with our meal. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Our food was great but unfortunately the service overlooked that. Our waitress was good at first but after she brought the appetizers out she was no where to be found. A different waitress brought our entrees out but then we went about 45 minutes without being serviced. My fiance was never offered another drink and we sat with empty glasses and plates on our table for about 30 minutes before our waitress finally came back to ask if we wanted dessert. No apologies for her absence, no asking how things were, no asking for more drinks. I would imagine when 20% gratuity is automatically applied that you would receive service that meets that, however tonight that wasn’t the case.

Simply put, this is Easton’s best restaurant. Come here for exceptional service, wine, and food. They’re remarkably attentive to allergies, unlike some other popular restaurants in town!
Don’t pass on the potatas bravas. Their steak dishes are exceptional. And I’ve never had a pork chop as delicious as this.

You can tell Jason has a vision the moment you walk into Kabinet. The space is thoughtfully put together with subtle details that signal you’re in for something different. What makes this place rare is that the kitchen hasn’t compromised to cater to an imagined American palate. Every dish that hit the table felt deliberate, clean and composed, both in taste and presentation. No unnecessary flourishes, no crowd-pleasing shortcuts, just clarity and confidence.
Jason’s borderline obsessive attention to detail shows in the way each plate is constructed, almost architectural in its precision. And then there’s the wine list which is massive, meticulous and a little intimidating at first glance, but Jason walks you through it with real knowledge and zero ego.
Kabinet is without exaggeration one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in the States.

I absolutely loved this place! The wine bar was stunning, with a stylish and elegant design. They have an incredible selection of wines. I really appreciated how the menu was simple yet offered plenty of variety. My favorite dishes were the beef tartare, leeks, crispy skin salmon, and duck with lentils. Chef Kadon was so friendly and welcoming—can’t wait to come back and try more of his amazing creations in the future! Highly recommend this place!

We received a gift card to visit Kabinett as a wedding gift last October and finally decided to go try it out. We loved the atmosphere, it was very comfortable and the décor wasn’t loud or overwhelming. The cocktails were delicious, we tried a variety from their grape infused gin and tonic, dirty martini and one of their house wines. We also had their potato appetizer which was so great and the perfect size to share! Tonight was their pasta night so for $30 you get the pasta meal of the day with your choice between one of three wines. I had the crab pasta and it was to die for with gracious serving sizes. For my wine I like something semi sweet almost dry but my server was so kind and found one that suited me and it went amazing with my meal, even bought a bottle to take home. My husband got the rib eye and he found that delicious as well. Overall we had an amazing date night with great food, service and ambiance and will definitely plan to come back!

After three years of coming to Kabinett, I’m finally writing this review because it’s truly well deserved. I’m a well-traveled eater, and Kabinett is the only place in the Lehigh Valley that genuinely impresses me. The food is always thoughtful and full of bold, interesting flavors—from hearty comfort dishes to more creative plates with Korean, Japanese, German, Greek, and Mediterranean influences that pop up in the best ways. Their Thursday mussels nights are incredible, with new flavors every week and always something exciting to try. The menu changes with the seasons, the quality is unmatched, and no other restaurant around here comes close to this level of taste and creativity. A must-visit for anyone who genuinely appreciates quality.

Incredible. The chefs need to take a bow. Every plate has unique flavor and keeps your palate interested and wanting more. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, the only mistake you can make is not ordering dessert. The staff made excellent recommendations on wine selections and were very attentive.
