Back on the hunt for a bowl of pho that satisfies our favorite in White Plains, we swung by Pho 79 for lunch.
The decor, which I don’t really worry about, certainly hits bare minimum and could use a bit of a clean, but it is certainly is cozy.
Service was fine; taking our orders was quick and to the point. We were there to eat so no complaints there!
As for food, we ordered two versions of beef pho and two of the spring rolls. The spring rolls (pork and shrimp) were made with fresh ingredients and the peanut sauce was heavy but yummy!
The pho was good and came out really fast – had a bit more floating grease in the broth than I prefer, but if we know anything about pho, it is absolutely to each their own! While Pho 79 ranks about 5 on my personal list, it will definitely hit the spot when you have a craving!

Pho 79 has solid pho overall. The broth had good flavor, though it wasn’t as hot as the pho I’m used to. I ordered the combo with brisket, fatty brisket, and beef, and the portions were satisfying. Service was quick, and the place was busy during dinner, which is always a good sign. A good option if you’re in the area and craving pho.

OMG wow! First of all, it’s a super simple & clean atmosphere which is super nice, the staff was incredibly kind & gentle and helped us right away. i can’t not say enough good things about the food, it came out fast, warm & was absolutely delicious, they give you a plate of fresh add-ins & the broth of the soup itself is so warm and comforting.

Absolutely delicious! I had my food delivered and the broth was still piping hot when I got it. All the add ins were fresh and the meat was yummy. Portions are huge and the spice in the sauce was the perfect amount for me and my cold. I plan to be back in the near future!

Great Pho option in Omaha. Took my family there for the first time. They have not Pho before so did not know what to expect. When you walk in the restaurant looks like you would expect with a small amount of chairs and very minimal. There were two younger guys working that took great care of us.
My wife got the Beef Pho and I tried the Spicy. They both were delicious. We also got a few spring rolls as well as a small order of wings for my daughter.
The wings had a weird smell to them but tasted good. Spring rolls came with a delicious peanut sauce for dipping.
If you are looking for delicious Pho I would recommend giving them a try.

I had the pho beef soup and I must say I am very impressed. The flavor, the freshness of the broth authentic for sure. I been eating pho since my daughter was 2 years old she is now 37 years old. I first got introduced to it by a family friend in Sioux City Iowa the restaurant Da Kao great food too. But this place Pho 79 has great food and great service. I hope they be here for a long time. I will be back again and again.

The sign for this restaurant is not up yet when we visited more than one week ago. It used to be Thai Pepper Restaurant. We really liked the dishes we ordered. Combination pho and the BBQ pork vermicelli noodle. Our server was very attentive and polite. The owner was very nice as well. He recommended our order and we were both very happy with the dinner. Will definitely come back for more noodle soup and appetizers next time. Oh one more thing, I love their simple menu!

Went there last night. 10/10 across the board. Best pho I’ve ever had. There starters are great. They’ve perfected their craft. I recommend the spicy beef pho and the spring rolls with peanut sauce! Not sure what his name was but he had blonde hair and has a great sense of humor!

My wife and I loved Thai Pepper when it was there. We decided to give Pho 79 a try and we were not disappointed. The first time we went I did the Beef Pho with steak and she did the spicy noodle dish. Both were very tasty and the owner was excellent and explained all of the dishes to us. We went back again and we both got the spicy noodle dish. The broth in this one is amazing we both said. This dish is Aces. Shorty the Foodie gives two thumbs up.
