I had an amazing experience at Flossmoor Social! From the moment I walked in, the manager Preston greeted me with such a warm and genuine welcome. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time and checked in to ensure everything was perfect, that level of attentiveness really makes a difference.

My waiter Fancy went above and beyond in every way. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and truly made the experience special. She explained everything thoroughly, had great recommendations, and never made me feel rushed. Her energy, professionalism, and attention to detail were top-tier.

The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the overall vibe was welcoming and fun. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about their guests. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Flossmoor Social to anyone looking for great service and an all-around wonderful experience!

The food and drinks here are phenomenal! I went for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed myself! I had the petal and pearl and the flossmoor tini for my drinks and they were really good! I had the Moroccan spiced lamb chops for my appetizer and those were good. My favorite thing that I had that night was the sautéed shrimp étouffée! I usually don’t eat dishes with grits but those were the best grits I’ve ever had. Everything about that dish was seasoned to perfection! I finished my meal off with the warm chocolate cookie and that was good as well. I had Deja as my server and she was very nice and attentive. She did her job well! I’II definitely be back real soon!

I had an absolutely amazing time this evening at Flossmoor Social! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Lobster Bisque, Social Rolls (Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls), and Oysters (pictured below), and every single dish was delicious. The flavors were on point, and everything was prepared perfectly.

I also had the Flossmoortini, crafted by my incredible bartender, Samiat. She truly provided above and beyond service. Her attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism took the experience from 5 stars to 10 stars! If Google had a 10 star option, I absolutely would have selected it.

Samiat checked in consistently throughout the evening and made sure everything was just right. The other staff members were also polite and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even better. I came during Happy Hour and stayed until closing time. I will definitely be back.

Flossmoor’s downtown area just got a wonderful addition for area diners. This fun new restaurant, Flossmoor Social, is a perfect spot to grab a cocktail with friends, a date with that special someone or a meal with family. I especially enjoyed their cornmeal crusted oyster appetizer on a half shell. They also make some very good sticky wings. Their fish dishes are perfectly prepared with the miso bourbon black cod being a standout. If you live in or visit the southern suburbs, Flossmoor Social is a lovely spot to try. So make sure you put it on your list and stop by!

★★★★★ Outstanding Experience

Flossmoor Social delivers on every level. The atmosphere is upscale, warm, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect setting for a night out. The food is exceptional, flavorful, well-presented, and clearly made with care. My favorite dishes so far have been the lamb chops, shrimp étouffée, potato soup, and lump crab cakes. Each one was absolutely delicious. I’m looking forward to trying every dish on the menu. The cocktails were equally impressive and crafted to perfection. What stood out most was the customer service. They are attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Flossmoor Social is truly a gem and a must-visit.

This is what we want in the burbs! My friend and I were so impressed with everything! The ambiance from when you walk in, the service, the drinks, the food, the presentation. It was spectacular. This is downtown Chicago vibes in the burbs without the extra parking fees lol we loved it and will be back! If I had a critique, it would only be to have some art on the walls, especially the bathroom and maybe even some fake plants just to elevate the decor but other than that 11/10 !

Tried Flossmore Social and listen…
they didn’t come to play.

• Salmon? Perfect.
• Spicy pasta for my daughter? Clean plate.
• Floral cocktail? Pretty AND dangerous.
• Chocolate chip cookie dessert we split? Criminally good.

But the real flex?
Green + wood decor.
Copper/rose-gold silverware (I’ve never seen that in a restaurant and I was locked in).
Bathrooms so clean they had mouthwash and lotion like, “we respect you here.”

Service on point.
Atmosphere intentional.
Location? Chef’s kiss.

This is the kind of place you save, not just like.
10/10. Will absolutely be back. ✨

Kind of difficult to find parking depending on the time of day you go because it’s right across the street from the metra station. When you walk in the place it is definitely cozy and very intimate aka small. Although, it is a great ambiance the place needs some art decor on the walls. I got there right after 6p and the gentleman at the hostess stand I believe his name was Donvian. The place was crowded, went right after happy hr ended. I didn’t have reservations, he was nice but not very helpful. He just told me well it’s packed idk what to tell you. He couldn’t give me a wait time or anything. I’m glad I waited because I was able to sit at the bar perhaps 5 mins after having a discussion with him about getting a table. This same gentleman brought my friend and I our entrees and he brought them out on a tray and was looking at us as if we were supposed to take them off the tray ourselves. We had to gesture to him to sit the plates on the bar for us. He needs a bit of hospitality training. My friend and I sat at the bar Alex was the bartender. Alex was great 5/5. The bar has a beautiful top and there’s outlets to charge your phone. I noticed a party sitting at the bar that had cashed out but still taking up the seats for over a hr. Perhaps they need a policy regarding sitting at the bar and not ordering anything. It seems as if there is only 1 person cooking because it took forever between the appetizers and entree to come out. It definitely took about 30 mins plus to receive our entrees. Honestly, we probably would’ve cashed out and left because it took so long but we wanted to wait to taste the entrees. My friend and I had the lobster bisque. It was flavorful but very salty. I could taste garlic in it so perhaps too much garlic salt. We also had the oysters. The fried oyster was delicious but definitely could’ve did without the creamed spinach that wasn’t creamed at all. It was very soupy. It needed cheese and perhaps placed under a broiler to bring it together. The spinach was bland. After waiting what seem like forever for our food…..I ordered the short rib bucatini and my friend had the sea bass. The short rib was tender but the dish as a whole was bland. I had to add salt, pepper, and cheese. The sea bass was ok per my friend. She stated there wasn’t enough miso and couldn’t taste the bourbon. I ordered the social sundae to go. To open it and find a brownie. On the menu at the restaurant it states a chocolate lava cake, the only reason I ordered it. Online it says brownie. Definitely was upset about that finding when I got home.

Great wine list, the Caymus was excellent. It paired very well with the Duck Fat Fries and Feta Croquettes. Chef Kendall prepared the Blackened Cod with Collard Greens beautifully (forgot to take a pic before devouring the plate lol) ! For dessert the butter-cake and the cookie a la mode were delicious. Do not skip dessert at FS, it’s a must. The candle was a nice touch. Thank you to Cain our bartender, and to Preston (one of the owners) for his warm hospitality. My guests frequented 69 Prime, but the food and ambiance at FS won them over this time and they will be returning.
