We enjoyed a meal here last night.
Had the Eye Fillet, Barramundi and the Veal Scallopini with a side of fries.
All mains were tasty and steak was cooked perfectly. But the fries were absolutely cold and dry….disappointing.
Desserts ordered were Creme Brulee and the Chocolate Orange Souffle.
I was so looking forward to the souffle (probably the main reason for my trying this restaurant as I am a dessert person)but there was not a hint of orange in the souffle and the texture of the souffle was not the best at the base. Very disappointed.
Hence taken a star off because of the cold fries and no orange taste in chocolate orange souffle and its texture.
Service however received was excellent. Our thanks to lovely Rebecca who looked after us so well. She was most attentive and polite.
Overall we recommend this restaurant as the mains were very good and will definitely return and hopefully get good hot fries and a better chocolate orange souffle with orange flavour

Did not expect to find French cuisine situated within a Best Western Plus Buckingham International Hotel. Food was traditional French style. Love the scallop entree! Have not seen chocolate orange soufflé in any other French establishment in melbourne thus far, 20min wait for dessert, so order ahead, and the team will timed it just perfect for after mains.

Absolutely a hidden gem! We had dinner there for our 16-years’ anniversary and we all loved the food there! The source of the French snail was lovely and the duck breast was perfectly – tender and juicy! Worth for the second visit some time!

A wonderful, warm atmosphere. The most authentic French food I’ve had in a long time. The duck fillet was so tender and the abalone was cooked to perfection. For starters we had escargot cooked in a creamy garlic sauce topped with croutons and cheese. They took us straight on a flight to Paris. Definitely recommend for someone who loves French food and would love a new experience!

Wanting some French food, but was not keen on going into the city. Went onto google, and stumbled onto deux soeurs, and thought I’d give it a try. Glad I did. This restaurant blew me away. The food was super delicious, well presented and of a very high quality. The service was A+++. It was an amazing experience and I’m definitely coming back. Highly recommended!!!!

Deux Sources, it’s exactly that… A nice discovery within The Buckingham right over Nepean Highway.
I pass by this place every day and never considered stopping by, but a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to treat my wife to a French dinner but didn’t want to travel far.
It’s as good as any other restaurant in Melbourne. The food is pretty good and the service is friendly and willing to please.
