Such a wonderful dining experience. The food was phenomenal and they give you so much. Prices were super reasonable and the staff were so nice and polite. They also have a fair amount of vegetarian options which is great. Apparently during Ramadan, they also have a big buffet. We will have to come back and try it.

We got the tikka, chicken, and chapli kebab and qubali plaw and mantu, All delicious, especially the chapli. We came at the start of the dinner rush so service was unfortunately not the best but can see it being improved.

Plenty of parking right next to the restaurant a very plus point in Dearborn area. Tea was complementary, was also very good.

This was my first time trying Afghani food, and definitely not the last! The food was absolutely delicious, from the appetisers to the main dishes. I loved the chapli kebabs and khabuli pulaw. I’ll definitely be back!

I had an unforgettable experience at Ariana Afghan Restaurant in Dearborn, Michigan. I actually traveled all the way from Chicago, and I can confidently say it was more than worth the trip. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with warmth, respect, and genuine hospitality that is hard to find these days.
The owners were incredibly kind and respectful. One of the moments that really stood out to me was when they referred to me as “That Chicago Guy.” It felt personal and welcoming, not forced, and it set the tone for the entire visit. Dawood and Kareem, one of the owners, truly went above and beyond. He treated us like honored guests rather than customers. At one point, he even refused to take payment and insisted that we were their guests. Of course, we made sure to pay, but that gesture alone shows the level of sincerity and generosity they bring to their restaurant.
Now let’s talk about the food. The Qabuli Palaw was absolutely mind blowing. One bite took me straight back to my childhood memories from the Middle East. The flavor, aroma, and balance were exactly how authentic Afghan food should taste. This is a flavor I have searched for across the United States and never truly found until now. The Mantu was also excellent. Soft, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care and tradition in mind.
I have tried Afghan restaurants in Chicago as well, including Kabul House, but honestly, they are not even close to this level of authenticity or cultural representation. Ariana Afghan Restaurant delivers real Afghan cuisine, not a watered-down version.
The restaurant ambiance was excellent. Very clean, neat, and well maintained, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The hospitality from the owners and staff made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated throughout our visit.
This entire experience was memorable from start to finish. If you are looking for truly authentic Afghan food, outstanding hospitality, and a place that respects its culture and guests, this is it. I highly recommend Ariana Afghan Restaurant and proudly rate it 10/10.

Decided to try this new Afghani restaurant in Dearborn and it was a hit with the whole family. The food was delicious and service was super fast. Owner and waiters has wide smiles on their faces and happy to answer questions.
We ordered a platter for 5 and a plate of Mantu. Both were excellent. The Chapli kabab tasted great but was not as thick as what we have eaten at other Afghani restaurants. The lamb meat was falling off the bone. The portions were generous. Even left overs tasted fabulous. Will definitely come back, hopefully soon .

Tried it for the first time and I was impressed. The kebabs were perfectly seasoned and the portions were huge. The mantu is a must try. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The service was friendly and the food came out hot and fast. Definitely one of the best Afghan spots I’ve tried. Highly recommend!

Service is very nice polite. Very delicious food I ordered the qabuli Palaw very tender lamb. And the family platter for 2. Generous portions. Comes with bread cucumber onion salad and a mint sauce and spicy sauce both very good. They threw in chicken soup on the house also delicious dip the bread in it. Overall very good will go again.

This restaurant deserve every star and more… My family and I were so pleased with the customer service. The owner and Cook came to personally show their gratitude and introduced themselves. The food was outstanding definitely coming back again and would advise anyone else to make sure that they go out and show some love.
Truly appreciate the owner and the waiters engagement with my kids. They were so tentative definitely a welcoming environment.
