Old School Tavern with cronies sitting @bar , lunch time , limited table top seating. COD fish was good but a little heavy on the breading, Perch fry was very good wife said . Bar tender was pleasant & attentive. Smoking area was too close to front door it should be move to the east side of building. That said food was good & pleasant customers

I went to belly Up for the first Time recently. It was a nice atmosphere and everyone treated each other like family. I was there for a bingo night, which I enjoyed. They have the most giant soft pretzel I’ve ever seen anywhere and it is so delicious! It literally fed three of us! They give you different dips, I highly recommend the cinnamon!

This place isn’t very big, but you have to appreciate feeling like part of the family when you come here.
As for the food, we both got the three piece Beer-Battered Cod Dinner and thought it was very average. Nothing stood out, tarter sauce was bland and I was missing my rye bread. Fries and beer were good though!
The service was great our first time, which is what brought us back, but definitely lacked on our second visit. I like the townie feel of the bar, so we will probably come back, but I won’t expect a lot from the food.

Superb fish fry. Especially the “grill top.” German potato salad also is delicious. Don’t expect anything but an establishment filled to the gills with “regulars,” but the staff are welcoming and provide prompt service, even to newcomers. Expect to wait, not many tables .
