Review:
Stopped by Boo Burgers on Saturday around 4pm. Not packed at all, with plenty of free parking on the side. They play good oldies music outside, which sets a fun, relaxed vibe. There are outdoor tables for eating, making it a nice spot to hang out.

The setup is unique — a storage container turned into a mini restaurant, with restrooms in nearby containers as well. Ordered the OG burger ($12). Making it a combo was an extra $5, which wasn’t bad. The burger and fries were good, though the price feels a bit on the higher side. Still, it’s a solid spot and a great option for a casual date night. Would come back.

Tip:
Grab an outdoor table and enjoy the music — it adds to the experience.

Good vibes, good burgers, no fuss.

This is a DAMN good burger. One of Houston’s best.

We came on a Sunday and had the special chicken sammich and the OG Burger double patty. The flavor profile on both of these goes crazy! The challah bun with the quality of beef..c’mon! and the chicken sammich is unique, specially if you like a kick of spice. The fries..if you like em thick n crispy..boo’s burgers is where it’s at.

The service was amazing from the cashier at the window to the owner coming and checking on us. To receive a 10/10 burger and service is rare. DO NOT SLEEP ON THEM!

They are officially a Houston staple on my list and you should try them out too. Nothing better than to support a local Houstonian owned business. Excited to try Boo’s Fish Fillet on a Friday!

I ordered the Boo’s OG combo, and it was really good. I could really taste the freshness in the 44 farms beef patty. I especially loved the fries. Overall, this place provided quick service and tasty food. This is a walk up restaurant and there is only outdoor seating. I plan on visiting again to try the fish sandwich next !

If you’re searching for the best burger spot in the area — especially “vegetarian burger near me,” “oyster mushroom sandwich,” or “top local restaurant” — Boo’s Burgers deserves your attention.
I ordered the Shroom Sammie, and it was unforgettable. The marinated oyster mushrooms are fried to crispy, juicy perfection and stacked generously — not scattered, not skimpy — stacked. They’re layered with lemon pepper wet sauce, garlic aioli, pickles, and a cabbage-mustard green slaw that adds just the right brightness and balance. The challah bun is soft, slightly sweet, and perfectly built to hold every flavorful bite together.
This is not an afterthought vegetarian option — it’s a standout sandwich that holds its own alongside the Boo’s OG Smash Burger.
I got the combo with seasoned fries and a Jarritos, and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere sealed it — old school R&B playing, relaxed energy, and a casual setting that makes you want to sit back and savor it.
Whether you’re looking for: • one of the best sandwiches in Houston
• a satisfying vegetarian burger alternative
• or a Black-owned restaurant worth supporting
Boo’s Burgers delivers.
Make the drive. Add it to your rotation. And if you go, order the Shroom Sammie.
I’ll definitely be back.

I LOVE! Tried both the Boo’s OG burger and Shroom burger, SO GOOD. The mushrooms are thinly separated blue oyster mushroom fried like crispy chicken placed like shredded salami on a sammich. They have an art installation that looks like it’s interactive for kids and climb-able but it’s like a purple Aztec parrot. Super cute. Spacious seating. Dogs welcome as it’s a walk up, street side kitchen. Very much a vibe I like too. Friendly staff, quick service especially for the quality.

LET ME TELL YOU! This is how you make a burger. I got the rodeo burger and it did not disappoint. You can tell the meat is seasoned VERY WELL. The combo of bbq sauce and jalapeños gives the perfect sweet and spicy combination. The crispy onions adds in a pleasant crunch and of course you can’t forget the bacon. (If that’s your thing)

Two patties are MORE THAN ENOUGH. You will leave full and satisfied. I’ll be dreaming about this burger tonight.

Disclaimer: the burger was $20 alone. However do not let it deter you to something of lesser quality. It is completely worth it.

The burger was juicy and flavorful with a soft, fluffy bun, and the fries were my favorite part taste-wise. However, the portions did not match the price at all. I paid $23 for a small burger with thin patties, a very small portion of fries, and a drink, which felt extremely overpriced.

On top of that, I paid $1 for extra sauce, and the container was barely a quarter full, which was really disappointing. I’m willing to pay for good food, but between the small portions and being cheap with something I paid extra for, it felt like I got ripped off.

Was the burger good? Yes.
Was it good for that price? No.

Would I come back? Possibly, but it wouldn’t be my first choice unless I was really craving it.

Take out burger window stand. There’s some seating outside but it’s mostly like a to go burger joint. I got their boos OG and the burger was pretty tasty. It costed about $12 for the burger. They have sauces and the one I tried was the spicy mayo, it kinda tasted like spicy queso but mayo or like pimento cheese.

I may move to Houston after eating the shrooms Sammie here. Hyperbole? Maybe, but that was one of the top 3 sandos of my life. The shrooms were perfectly crispy and seasoned with just the right amount of delicious lemon pepper wet. The soft and pillowy bun held the whole thing together in the best way. Crispy and seasoned fries to boot! Everyone working there was so nice too.

The burger and fries are excellent. We had a decent wait for our food, but it was worth it. The burger patty was nicely seasoned and cooked well with a nice crust. They make their own pickles, and they’re great. The bread is a sweet brioche/challah which is nice. The fries are double fried and probably some of the best in town. Champ Burger is my favorite, but these guys are serious competition!
