Great Experience!! My husband & I stopped here on our 34 hr reset! We were greeted immediately by a wonderful, sweet lady Anaheet Y. She took care of us the entire time and made our experience a great one. The food was phenomenal and I got a chance to sample the meat before I ordered due to past experiences. Anaheet ensured our order met our expectations 100%. If someone was to ask me what makes a wonderful host, I would describe Anaheet every single time. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our visit with it.

On the main drag on the way to the concert venue. Seat yourself kind of place. Given chips & salsa right away. Put in our drink orders while looking at the menu, then put in our food order a few minutes later. Our food arrived before our drinks did & I was given food I didn’t order. When I finally got the shrimp quesadilla I ordered, I opened the sections of quesadilla & there was only 1 little shrimp per triangle. While our basket of chips was refilled once, we were not asked if we would like another drink. It did seem like our waitress was trying to manage several tables at once.

Horrible service. We sat at the bar. The bartender was our waiter. As in all Mexican restaurants the first thing you get is chips & salsa. We got none as other table got theirs. Asked for them he said he would get us some. Never happen. Next ordered a Margarita, it was the worst ever. Told the waiter about it, he said others had complained about the extremely tart taste also, but it was his manager that supplied the mix. The guy sitting next to us also complained about his drink. Next it took close to an hour to get our food, the tacos were good, waited for condiments such as taco sauce, sour cream, we got none. The waiter kept saying he would get it but never did. Third and final ordered desert. Literally waited over 30 minutes for it but we never got it. The waiter said they were making it fresh & it was on its way 3 different times. Never came. I finally walked out, my wife waited another 15-20 minutes. She asked the bartender/waiter where’s our desert, he once again said it was on its way. Finally she said you can eat it when it’s done, and left. By the way, we tipped well despite the horrible service, not sure why, but we did.

A smidge better than Taco Bell. I think the salsa was tomato sauce blended with habanero. Thank goodness we were starving or I would have left after the first bite. Ordered a mezcal margarita and it was obviously a pre made mix that was so tarts that I ordered an additional shot to make it palatable. The server was super nice and gave good service!!!

The hot salsa is really enchilada sauce, see the brown sauce in pics. The best thing we had was the $7 lime margaritas. The wife liked the chicken Torta. Overall a 3/5, at least you don’t have to drive here.

Its was a very nice place. I ordered a steak fajita with a Sangria drink. At first there seemed to be a delay in getting the order in as a second server eventually came to inquire whether anyone had taken my order. Then when it arrived It was a chicken fajita instead. The waiter gladly took the plate back and corrected the order. I am sure the chicken fajita would have been very tasty as well, it just wasn’t what I ordered.

I did order desert, a tres leches dish with rasberry drizzle and whipped cream on top. It was delicious.

Chips and queso were disappointing. The chips had a weird taste to them and the queso was bland. Service wasn’t bad but there’s definitely better food at the other places around.

Salsa….wow….the hot had so much flavor …it was exceptional….me medium, very fresh tasting and packed with flavor. I could have eaten salsa and chips all night. We came in late, closer to closing, and it was not an issue, they served us like we were there during the day. Everyone was friendly, would check on us when they went by, I am extremely satisfied and will be back!

I tried the “new” Willy and Jose’s at the Ameristar Casino. The menu was very basic but that is probably due to the “rona.” The service was great, Kyle was quick to pour up a Citron and soda, get my order. I had the Al Pastor Tacos and a side of rice. I found the tacos missing the cilantro and diced onions, but not bad. The rice was tasty but very oily(?). Overall, not bad for a casino experience. The a la carte pricing was pretty decent.
