Super impressed with this place!!! Food was delicious and fresh, nothing was greasy. Margaritas were also great and didn’t taste super sugary. Service was awesome. Highly recommend!

Definitely not the typical Mexican restaurant. Unique menu options. Price above what we pay at similar establishments. Server was pleasant but not very attentive.

Appreciate the ability to choose different protein for the trio of tacos. Refried beans looked and tasted like purée. Enchiladas were meat filled tortillas with lots of sauce. Seemed like something (sour cream, cheese, garnishments) was missing. Black beans were like soup.

First time here. But definitely not my last! I’m an OTR Trucker and I’ve had plenty of Mexican restaurants over the years. Including the ones down in FL where ism from. But this place has to be by far the best one I have ever been to! The food was amazing, selection seemed never ending. And the service was with a smile. 10/10
Definitely would recommend. And ill be back next time I’m this way. GUARANTEED!!!

First visit. It’s more upscale food. Prices are reasonable, maybe 10-15% more than the average Texmex around this area. Food was great. Salsa was good. Server was top notch. Huge bar. Many TVs. Great atmosphere. We will add this to our usual spots.

I went there on Friday night with friends for a margarita. I didn’t get to eat dinner because we had already eaten at home. I did get to taste a few bites and to take photos of everything to document the experience. I will update this post once I get to experience a whole meal here.

The staff treated us like royalty and they let us drink at the bar/karaoke until 10:30. We will definitely be back, using this place as our new favorite hangout. It’s a gorgeous restaurant with the kindest staff.

After waiting a long time for this place to open, my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by our first meal at La Gran Riviera. The word has obviously not gotten out that they are now open. We visited on Sunday after church and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I bet it doesn’t stay that way for long as soon as the community learns about the excellent food, service and atmosphere.
My wife chose the chicken chimichanga with black beans. It was literally stuffed with shredded white meat chicken covered in cheese dip. I can attest to the fact that it was tasty because I stole a few bites off her plate. I selected the barbacoa street tacos with ranchero beans. Accompanied by a lime wedge, hot sauce and a cilantro mix, and served in fresh fried corn tortillas, these were excellent. The service was awesome — the waiter checked on us every few minutes. The interior was freshly decorated with a contemporary blend of tiles and colorful graphics.
La Gran Riviera is definitely a restaurant that we will visit often — and not just because it is near our neighborhood. We’ll be back because we were so impressed.

We just ate here for the first time, and it was great! The place is very clean, open area, food was delicious and great service. Prices range from around $12-$23. Soda and tea is $0.99, a price I have t seen in awhile.

My spouse and I came to visit one evening and there was not a huge crowd. We like Mexican cuisine and visit establishments throughout the area. The service was good. The salsa, chips, and queso were tasty. However, the food was very bland. The presentation was satisfactory and will deceive you. I ordered the street tacos thinking who can possibly fumble this dish? Well, I was disappointed-bland as there was no seasoning or salt with yellow plain rice. My husband ordered the Mexican steak. Great presentation but it lacked all things worthy of a great meal. My husband always devours his entire meal but not this time. Bland, bland, bland! He was not happy. The margaritas were weak in alcohol content. Not to mention I was charged for Pico that I didn’t receive. We paid $74 for this mess. We came, we ate, and will not be back.
