Anatolian Table is a great catch-all dinner spot – San Francisco
Reviews
We ordered a variety of dishes: falafel, kalamar, lahmacun, and sultani. It was the perfect amount for two people. Everything was absolutely delicious and my personal favorites were the lahmacun and sultani.
We didn’t have enough room for dessert, and so that means I’ll just need to come back!
The Anatolia Table truly delivers on every front. We started with the borek—crispy, golden, and filled with flavor—then moved on to the manti, little dumplings packed with deliciousness. The kasharli was rich, gooey, and just the right portion.
Everything tasted authentic and satisfying. Add in the warm service, the cozy ambiance, and the choice of sitting either inside or out, and you’ve got a spot that feels like a little slice of Turkey right here.
The staff are incredibly friendly and recommended some excellent options I never tried before. We tried kusbasi, different mezze, octopus, deserts – everything was perfect. The interior is lovely as well!
The desserts were on another level. The kunefe was incredible, and the ekmek kadayifi was honestly one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. Everything we had was super tasty and just made us so happy.
Also, Fatima and Huseyin were helping us—they were both so nice and friendly! They gave us great suggestions and checked in on us, which we really appreciated. The whole vibe was warm and welcoming.
Anyway, just wanted to say this place is awesome. We’ll totally be back again!
The tabbouleh is tasty but not your typical version — it feels like a signature twist by the restaurant, which makes it even more interesting. The kebab sultani was outstanding, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The lahmacun was one of the best I’ve ever had — fresh from the oven and full of bold spices. The cheese borek was a perfect hot appetizer — crispy, cheesy, and comforting.
And of course, the Turkish tea! It tasted just like it should — rich, aromatic, and served in the most traditional way.
I also have to give a special shoutout to Fatima, the amazing server who happened to take care of my table both times. Her warm smile, attentive service, and thoughtful approach truly elevated the entire experience. The whole staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional.
I even met the owner — who’s also the chef — and he was incredibly kind, greeting guests personally and making sure everything was running smoothly in the kitchen.
This place checks all the boxes: great food, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service, and a genuine sense of hospitality that reflects Turkish and Middle Eastern culture at its best.
Definitely worth trying!
