They have a sign that says “Wait to be seated”, but they tell you to seat yourselves.
Server was nice and quick. Food took a minute to arrive. I ordered a hot chocolate, 2 eggs over easy, turkey sausage and French toast, they had fresh strawberries and blueberries that you can add on top, which was nice.
The hot chocolate was in a large clear glass mug, and was pretty. But it tasted like they didn’t add enough mix for that size of cup.
The eggs were egging.
The turkey sausage came in 3 sausage patties, and they had no flavor, tasted like water. My husband claimed that they tasted like wood.
The French toast was beautiful, and she ended up taking it to add whipped cream to the top. But it tasted like the egg that they made it in wasn’t flavored. The toast overall tasted like bread. The syrup that they used had no flavor even though I used it 3 times before realizing that it was 190 calories per serving, so I stopped.
I was very underwhelmed.

I visited Lela’s today for a late breakfast. I was extremely pleased with my server Sarah. The food was great and menu recommendations were spot on! I will be back in the future when in the area. Next time I plan on trying one of their cocktails!

I came in today for a super early breakfast as I was not already having a good start to my morning. The restaurant was pretty empty. My order was taken by the one of the friendly staff and my food was out within minutes. I ordered an omelette with hash browns. It was pretty tasty. Restaurant is super clean with ample parking in the lot.

I will be back. Thank you!

I’ve visited Lela’s Brunch at least a dozen times and it never disappoints. Great service and delicious food at a reasonable price! Belgian waffle with fresh strawberries, blueberries & whipped cream ($10) on the left, Avocado Toast ($9) with two poached eggs on the right. $ very reasonable prices!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Sat at the counter. First timer. What a cute place. Chill vibe. Had eggs, toast potatoes, sausage and coffee. My server really hooked me up. Didn’t catch her name, but she was great. Highly recommend!

We began our day with breakfast at Lela’s before the Woodward dream cruise and were delighted by the exceptional service and tasty food at affordable rates. The eatery provided a warm and welcoming environment, with carefully prepared meals served promptly. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, making Leila’s a top contender for our next breakfast or brunch destination in Michigan.

Hidden gem . I’m writing this in June 2023. They have been open for a few months.
If you’re in a hurry, order takeout. The place is very clean. The food is delicious. And I especially recommended it for breakfast. The coffee is strong and fresh. If you’re like me and provid coffee, or a little water to dilute it . They open at 7 o’clock in the morning. They have tables and a counter. I really like the counter, it is nice if you’re by yourself, and want to fast quick meal. I am particularly struck by the cleanliness and the freshness of the food. It’s on S Opdyke Rd (not far from Square Lake Rd). Down the road hundred feet past by a street called Centerpoint Pkwy. A little past Hollywood Super Market. Directly across the street from the Dunkin’ Donuts.
