It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Wish I could put zero stars or negative a million stars. I found a pubic hair in my breakfast taquito and the whole thing smelled foul like and not like food at all. Manager reach out offering to remake my food while offering no explanation. Don’t eat here ever!

Had a really solid experience at this Whataburger location. The service at the window was polite and efficient, ordering was quick, and the staff seemed on top of things. I received my food fairly fast, even with one truck ahead of me in line. Interestingly, I actually got my order before them, so I ended up waiting just a few extra minutes, but nothing excessive or frustrating.

The food itself was spot on. The fries were perfectly crispy and served piping hot, which isn’t always the case with fast food. What really stood out was that they included six ketchups without me having to ask, a small gesture, but it showed attention to detail and good customer service.

All in all, a great visit from start to finish. Quick service, hot food, and courteous staff. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered out once ate in house the second. Our first time to eat at a whataburger. Pleasantly surprised is my thought. Food, service and atmosphere were great! The burgers remind me of what Browns dairy bar used to serve.

You read the recent reviews and think they have at least gotten better over time as usual, but I have never in my last $100 of food here gotten a fully correct order. They are often understaffed, there are technical issues, or the staff are poorly trained. I don’t visit during the day as this is one of the good spots open at night, but overnight shifts need polishing. It gets to a point where the management is failing the workers and customers and I think that’s what it is

Editing my review to add that my next order (kids burger plain dry add cheese) was given to me in a bag with no burger patty and all the veggies (?) . The manager on duty offered a refund but we just wanted a remake and he definitely made everything right. We got our correct order and some sweets to make up for it.

Never been to a whataburger and figured we’d try them out after the Mrs said she liked it when she lived in California ( 30 years ago)
I enjoyed it. The covered drive through ordering was nice ( it was raining ) and the menu had something for every taste. I went with the pico de gallo burger and banana shake. Pulling up to pick up our food with a drive up covers area was also a nice touch.
The staff was very polite and attentive.
After getting our food and parking I found that each meal was in its own bag and the sandwiches were labeled as to what they were oooo and they were double wrapped!
No mess, easy to handle and just a great experience for some great tasting food.

We have stopped going to this establishment all together as the food has done a consistent down hill slide. Perhaps it’s turn over of staff or something else? I don’t know?
I do know the app perks were giving us issues and the food just wasn’t up to my first taste of it.
I’m going to have to mirror more of the other reviews as well. It’s just not that good anymore.

Although it was 3am and I understand staffing issues. I had no problem with waiting if needed. With that being said my gravy was water and I was unable to dip my biscuit in it. In fact, when I opened it, it went all over my center console. I love Whataburger and hope they can adjust and improve…

I made an online pickup order last night from the app. One burger and a milkshake. The place was run by unchecked children. There was a pile of young people in the dining area yelling profanities wondering in and out of the kitchen. Employees spouting profanities at each other. My order was supposed to be ready , according to the app, by 8:45. I asked the girl at the register about my order at 8:45. She checked on it and said they were working on it and it would be ready shortly. I checked in with now a young man at the register at 9:00 and he checked on my order just to find out it had just been sitting back there so they were going to remake it fresh. I’ll not be back to this location.

Waiting in the drive-through line is a joke. The people taking your order have no Professional courtesy or common sense. I had to go through a five minute conversation with a woman on the drive All just while trying to order a number one combo with a root beer. I had to hear her talk about all the other customers that have drove off and all the other things I don’t care about. I just want my food and I would like it quickly. The drive-through should not take 25 minutes.

Asked if I want cheese on my burger. I said yes but they didn’t say they were going to add 2 slices and charge .79 per slice. Then when I get home they didn’t bother to put the cheese on the burger. So I paid for the 20 + minutes of wait time and no cheese. This was my first visit to the new location and I can’t find anything to be thrilled about. Burger was made very poorly too. Nothing against Whataburger itself as I’ve had good experiences in the past but this location dropped the ball.

I don’t think I have ever left a negative review but it was really bad.

They had no one up front. You order from a touch screen. I wanted spicy catchup with my potatoes but it ended up all over my breakfast biscuit resulting in a soggy mess.

It was SO COLD and took about 20 minutes to get our food.

My husband got a breakfast bowl and the cheese wasn’t even melted due to the temperature in the building

Just not worth going
