It’s a very authentic experience inside. Very small place but super tasty food! I had the loroco pupusa and a chicken one. The portions were big and they did not skimp on the stuffing inside. Also, the curtido (cabbage slaw) was fresh and tangy. I also had a piece of the homemade baklava pastry – again it was fresh and well prepared. Nice people here too!

I was looking for a soup today and this place definitely satisfied my cravings. I had the beef soup, which is a big plate of soup, three tortillas, lime and onion/cilantro. Ask for the spicy sauce! A lot of meat and vegetables in the soup, splendid! I also had one cheese pupusa which was really gooood, I which I go back in order to try more on their menu. Definitely a place I would recommend. They didn’t got the 5/5 because of the place which was a little messy but I will not focus on that if the food is so good.

Great pupusas – unfortunately, they’ve forgotten to include the curtido in my last two take-out orders. I’ll have to remember to check it carefully before leaving the restaurant. The place is very small, having about 6 tables. The variety on the menu is good, and prices are extremely reasonable. Don’t be put off by the former-gas-station exterior – the place is clean, service is quick and friendly.

So goal was to order at la placita but by accident we ordered at Los primos because we did not remember the name .. anyhow.. glad we did because the food was so good! We had popusas and plantains. Would definitely recommend. The place is difficult to spot and may appear sketch, but do not let it fool you!!
