Casa Rositas: A Cozy Mexican Breakfast Brunch Spot in Fullerton
Reviews
The chilaquiles were phenomenal—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The guest service was outstanding; you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Even though the restaurant is small, it comfortably accommodated our party of nine without feeling cramped. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax. We plan to make this our breakfast spot when we come to visit Knott’s Berry farm in the area. Thank you so much for the great food and friendly service.
When the cashier handed me the food I was shocked at the weight. Then I opened the box and WOW it was truly loaded! Shareable for sure.
It tasted great and not a frie uncovered very delicious.
Parking in front of the restaurant is limited, but there’s plenty of additional parking next to the building, which makes it convenient.
What really stood out was the friendly atmosphere. Who I believe was the owner came out to greet several tables, showing how much they value their customers. It’s clear that they’ve built strong relationships with many regulars.
As for the food, my wife tried the huevos rancheros, which were very delicious. The menudo was flavorful, though the menudo it self was a little softer than I prefer. The tortillas weren’t homemade, which was a bit of a letdown for me since homemade tortillas always elevate a meal—but it’s not a dealbreaker.
The menu is simple but full of traditional Mexican favorites like chilaquiles, café de olla, and a variety of Mexican sodas. It’s not overwhelming, and everything feels thoughtfully selected.
Overall, I’d give Casa Rosita’s 4 out of 5 stars. The service and atmosphere were excellent, the food was enjoyable, and with just a few small improvements (like tortillas and menudo not to be so soft), it could easily be a solid 5-star spot.
( the menudo is not to fall apart at touch)
