I cannot recommend this location specifically go someplace Else. The food was fantastic the customer service not. I was served by a cashier named Angel. I gave him my order and he recommended I get the cranberry sauce to along with the kolache of the month I ordered. I tell him yes I proceed to pay and I leave. As I’m double checking my bags he had forgotten the cranberry sauce. No big deal, I go back I ask for it, he hands it to me, we’re cool. I get back to the house and my girlfriend is asking for her potato kolache. I check the receipt I obviously paid for a potato egg and cheese and 2 ranchero kolaches. I don’t understand how Angel couldn’t pay attention for atleast two minutes so I could have gotten my order correctly but I have to say it ruined my first experience with the restaurant. How could I have known I didn’t get my order correctly without having to split open the kolache? They are organized and labeled behind the counter, so why was my order made wrong? Maybe laziness or incompetence or both.

Do not go here if you are a AARP member they do not accept their coupons even though they advertise that they do. I ended up spending my money at Shipley’s donuts for Kolaches there. Why advertise if you don’t accept it you the one that advertised there. It was not the employees fault but a horrible manager that didn’t even want to speak to me totally incompetent manager. I will be calling AARP to take the coupons down.

This is my first time in Texas and these Kolache things were a recommended MUST.
And I gotta say, they are amazing. I love the variety and the softness of the dough. The croissants are so delicious too. It’s wild! I can just eat a whole grip of these things non stop.
Only downfall, after being out in the display case for a while, they are room temperature and I KNOW these would be way better hot.
Maybe I just have to get in before 10am. ♂️

This is the second time in a row we have visited and everything was awful. Starting with the greeting. They were not welcoming at all. We had quit a large order. The lady taking our order was rude and acted as if we were inconveniencing her. When we asked questions she would not reply but point. Then we get our food and the kolache’s were not even warmed up. They didn’t even offer to warm them. I am disappointed in this store and how terrible it has become in the last couple of years.

I drove 30 minutes from Huntsville to pick up my own Mother’s Day breakfast. I ordered on the app at 12pm. Got to your store in Conroe at 1:15pm when it said my order would be ready. My order was not made at all. Recipe was on the counter. The employee begins to tell me they have no ham and cheese. So yes I got very upset because I ordered this 1hr ago. Everytime I have come to this location after 11am they will not make and ham or cheese kolaches. I asked for a corporate number to call as I literally drove 30 mins to pick up this order for myself on Mother’s Day. After he went to the back and spoke with whoever he spoke to he comes back and tells me they can go ahead and make me my order fresh. Like, you’re suppose to? Then proceeded to not give me corporates number. I asked the employee why they stop making the most famous kolache they have 3 hours before closing and he didn’t answer me and simple said he was sorry. Let me add that there is not and still not 1 person in here. I was told it will take 35-40 minutes to make my order and if I wanted to wait. Which I am because I drove so far to get here. Than tell me I can’t have the strudle I ordered either because that would take them an hour to make. This location is absolutely horrible with with how it’s managed and how customers are just refunded and turned away because you can’t make more food? Yet you’re a place that sells food to make money? Make it make sense.
