So disappointed with the food! There were six of us, and although our plates were too hot to touch, our food was cold. The cheese on two of the cheeseburgers wasn’t even melted. We did send back to complete meals because they were not hot. The steak burger was fine, but the roll was hard on top. For an extra $1.99 we ordered onion rings instead of fries. There were about five rings, which were cold and hard, and we had to pay for them even though we told the server how bad they were. The server did her best, but the kitchen needs some help.

Breakfast was wonderful, western omelet full of flavor and served hot! Our waitress was Kay and she never missed a thing and had a big smile when she greeted us. Will defenently be returning. And P.S. coffee was not bitter or too strong just right.

Had a wonderful experience here with a family breakfast. Our last visit, not much so. The server then served us our banana nut bread still in a plastic box, no butter and no plates. Wish I remembered her name. Her service in general, left much to be desired. However this visit was so much better! Meagan took great care of us and not just plated our bread, but she pre-cut and served us. Its the little things like this that make all the difference! We absolutely will ask for Meagan here on out. She was such a great personality and so attentive!

Me and my brother stopped in at the Hagerstown BE, at 7:30 am on Dec. 22 and he had the biscuit gravy (small) cup, and 2 coffees, I got the 2 breakfast sandwiches with hash browns and gravy, the potatoes were so small, I had a hard time picking them with a fork. I had 2 coffees. The bill was $30.00 and the tip was $6.00, total was $36.00.
NOT what I was expecting, they charged us $3.50 per coffee, that’s $14.00 for the coffee alone, BEvans ripped us off, whenever I go to the diner in Annapolis they only charge me $0.99 cents for coffee. I asked the cashier if we could get a senior citizen discount and they said No. I looked at the pies on the table, they were $15.00, I told the cashier that they should make them $5.00 and they would sell all of them. She said I know.
I will never go to a Bob Evans again, you lost another customer. That breakfast wasn’t worth it.
Looks like I’m sticking with the diner in Annapolis. They give seniors discounts.

Visited on a road trip from Toronto, Canada to Washington DC. Our first visit to a Bob Evans location and we enjoyed the experience. Food was great and the service even better. We were thirteen of us and Amanda (Mendi) took very good care of us. It was a birthday celebration made special by the singing quartet you see in the picture.

Food was good, service was nice. It wasnt a very quick service but average in terms of time. One thing I did not like was the server did not even ask if we want to order something more and placed the bill on our table which was very rude. We were thinking to order desserts and coffee after meal but skipped it then.

Kay was our server, and she was fabulous. Super friendly and attentive. I got the 3 course meal with the salad entree and dessert and while I didn’t get my salad or bread and ended up just getting the entree, Kay made sure our service was still great by having our refills ready to go and made sure we were sent home with everything we needed. The food is nothing incredible, but it’s Bob Evans, so I didn’t expect it would be. You can’t beat the atmosphere of a cheap breakfast/brunch chain restaurant. My family had a great time!
