The maple butter, waffle and bacon on the breakfast platter was *chef’s kiss.
Hubby ordered a burger with an extra patty and said it was one of the best he’s had in a while.
The server even gave us a cup of ice to refill our bottles before our flight. Would come back if we get to visit Austin again!

I came into Austin as a pit stop for a connecting flight. I came into at 7 (which his diner closes at 8). The staff was friendly and quick. I ordered the patty melt and my wife got the mushroom Swiss burger. Fries were on point and the food was very good. Patty melt had great flavor and crisp bread. The Swiss burger had plenty of toppings, juicy and toasted buns. Definitely will eat here again when I’m in this airport.

I don’t expect much from airport food but this was a disgrace. We ordered two veggie hash, a Cesare salad and a burger. We ate the eggs only, just because we were hungry, the vegetables were impossible to eat. The salad had so much dressing that it felt like soup. I assume that they are aware of their nasty food since the waiter didn’t even ask us why we didn’t eat our food. What you see in the picture is the food untouched (except for the two eggs that laid on top of the veggies).

Waited 50 minutes for the wrong food. Over easy egg with runny whites, and potatoes fried in oil so bad who knows when it was changed. They were fried for so long they crumbled to dust when you took a bite. The toast we got was warmed but not toasted, you can’t make this up. And somehow the waffle was gummy? Just gross all around. Honestly I’ve never sent food back at a restaurant but I sent the hash back and just left. My grapefruit juice was great though. The waiter didn’t check on us once besides ordering and delivering the food. Extremely disappointing especially when you don’t have time to find another spot to eat.

We visited on 3-1-26 8am as we connected to our final flight home. It was my wife and myself. We were given one set of silverware. We had to ask for the additional sliverware 3 times from both wait staff before finally arrived. We had to ask for water two times and had to get the waiters attention to provide us a refill on coffee. When we got our water the waiter slammed down the glass on the table and practically threw the straws on the table. The sad part we had to order thru our phones and already tipped for very poor service.

The one plus to this place… It’s right across the way from Alaska gates in the airport. The chicken and waffles were horrible and for the price was even worse. Who knows when the grease has been changed or what. The chicken was dark, overcooked, nasty. So much so when I was done with the meal and the bartender/server saw all the nasty deep fry. He laughed and goes ” oh, a little crispy today”— ya think? We watched multiple people come in and not be greeted or serviced within a timely manor and left. While it seemed the only person working was the bartender. The two in the photo, started like this for roughly 15 minutes, this after sitting at a table for another 20 minutes with a cook from the back. Again, people were leaving because they were not getting service. My wife and I just chuckled while watching all of this, in shock.

I wanted to eat here after having my flight delayed 5 hours. Walked up to the hostess at 5:30 PM. And was told they closed at 6pm and it takes about 15 minutes to make the food. So you’ll have to eat quickly because you have to get out by 6 PM. Must be nice to have a restaurant that closes at 6pm. There are hours on google says they close at midnight. WTH

I am a frequent traveler and I decided to try this place. It began with the online menu allowing only one selection for the cook of the burger. “Meduim” was the only option and I wanted it well done. I couldn’t order because of that nor could I get anyone to help me. I went to the front to leave and there was someone at the stand as I was leaving. I explained the menu problem to her and asked if someone could take my order. I was reseated and someone took my order. The fries were pasty and the burger was weak on flavor. I won’t ever patron this buisness again.

If you’re looking for sub par, over cooked food then this is your stop! I got the fried chicken sandwich, it was dark brown… Our fries were over fried… Burger was over cooked. Wife had to get our drinks from the bar.. bartender was more interested in their phone, waiter too busy showing his phone to her. The phone order system was crappy and glitchy.. no check, error with check. Get a boxed sandwich from a machine

Pleasantly surprised by the chicken and waffles, especially coming from an airport diner. Both were cooked to perfection, out of everything in the menu I definitely recommend this item. Despite it being very expensive, they give you a massive portion that was more than filling imo.
