Love love this Dairy Queen. They are the best ever!!!!!! They are so above the other dairy queens. Always accurate in what you order. Great on special orders too. Always friendly. New help trained to do it the right way. We drive an hour to get here. We have a dairy queen 1/4 mile from us and it is terrible, Haven’t gone there for years now.

I have always loved this DQ! I grew up near it & worked there in high school & beyond! It is not the same as it was. I have decided to give up going to this location as the owner always has an attitude. He doesn’t give napkins with your order. I should not have to ask for them. You can’t get a lid for your item unless you ask for it before you order. The kicker today was when I asked for my gift card back after he ran it. I knew that there was no balance left but he threw it away …saying that it couldn’t be reloaded. My response was that I give my grands my old gift cards to play with! I am tired of his attitude. Obviously, he doesn’t need my money anymore. He needs to learn some serious customer service because he has absolutely NONE! I will drive to Cissna Park… they have exceptional customer service in a family, oriented business!

What’s better than a locally owned dairy queen? This dairy queen still has the old style walk up and place your order counter with the only available seating outside on a picnic table or in your car. So if you want an ice cream experience like the way it was over 30 years ago, this is the place to go. They even have the old signage that show you what the prices were in the 50s… really neat.
